Can you then take the tram back from Aria to Bellagio, it says one way? Also is there a cost to take the tram? Thank you

Tram goes both ways and is free.

Tram stop is pretty far from the Horseshoe, all the way in the back of the Bellagio, but the walk is mostly inside thru the shops and Bellagio casino.

I've been trying to call the Horseshoe room for three days. Tried in the morning, afternoon, and late at night. They never answer. I wonder if they're just tired of answering the phone.

Wynn did that last year too. Can someone make this make sense? I don't play there but if I did I would play somewhere else or not play at all during the WSOP if every poker room adopted this policy.

Wynn was very efficient the 2021 WSOP when I was there. They had two people at podium. One entering names as people showed up, and one seating people.

As tourney tables broke they converted them to cash immediately.

Superbly run system.

Easy. They want you to be there as if the wait is long and you know that over the phone you might not go there. As is if you are there you might play other games.

Floors are by far the busiest during this time. It’s easier for them if they don’t have to answer a million calls a day. And they still get plenty of customers during this time.

That ploy works if every poker room refuses to take call-ins. This time of year, I'm going to the places that take call-ins before I'll schlep to a place just to get on their list.

The Wynn doesn't have someone to handle call ins. Both people at the podium are constantly seating new guests, handling table changes, and handling must moves.

Mandalay Bay is still taking callins, much shorter waiting lists there since it’s further down the strip and they have the best dealers in town.

Callin? What, they don't use the Bravo app out there?

What did the Bravo app show you when you checked if Horseshoe Las Vegas was on there?

Does anyone know how the MGM properties' poker comps work? Do all properties get pooled together like Caesars, or is the $2 per hour only good at the casino you're in?

Their comp system is archaic. It’s only good at the casino you earn them in and you have to get a paper comp printed out in order to use it.

Talked to a Bellagio floor about that a couple years ago when getting a comp printed. He told me it's super annoying for them but higher up is very happy about their super low redemption rate. Sounded very much like it was by design.

Somebody recently told me they don't let you sell your comps at the table anymore but I have no confirmation for that.

Ellis Island has a 24/7 steak dinner special which is $10 if you sign up for a players card otherwise $13. It's an OK walk from the back of Horseshoe, at least in early June.

The South Point is the only room in Vegas you can join the wait list on Bravo outside of the WSOP when the Horseshoe and now Caesars have added that functionality. Do they need to install completely new software or something? Bravo added that feature years ago and we're still having to call in instead of using the app. Scrolling Bravo country wide it looks like maybe 25% of poker rooms have the option available if that many.

Yeah, when our local casino (Ohio) finally added it, it had taken a while as they had some software challenges to figure out. But I figured Vegas casinos would be way more on the ball, and us flyover rubes were the last to the party with online Bravo check in. The floor staff love it, their job went from 80% answering the phones and adding people to a list (something a part time teenager could do), to actually being able to manage a room professionally.

Casinos have to pay Bravo $$$ to gain access to waitlist functionality. Better for the bottom line to let the floor answer phones.
