Where and how to redeam?
You can use them at the cheap restaurants like Grand Lux and food court. Also for tournament entries I think, but I've never done that.

You need to use your Grazie card to log hours.

Hi,
Planning a 6 month poker trip to Vegas, going pro and all.
Airbnb is too expensive nowadays.

I've been told of a website luxuryrentalsinvegas.com, is it legit? has anyone used this site before?
I've also found that the Sky Tower is very nice and not at all expensive, but for some reason the link to the website no longer works, and I can't find the website on google. Any ideas why?

Are there any other affordable options to rent in Vegas as a non American tourist?

For BetMGM, they say online that you can do this but you have to get in touch to do it. It isn’t automatic. I asked via live chat and had to ask many times but it eventually happened.

This is legit curiosity so not "asking for a friend"...I haven't been to a strip club anywhere since 2003: With Covid and inflation, what is the expected tip while just sitting at the rail now. Is it $5? More?

Wow that's not scaling with everything else. Bad for the dancers, I guess

I'm sure the price of "add-on" services has scaled appropriately.

while there is probably a basis for what you are saying... you can 'TIP' more often. frequency of tipping does scale.

when 'making it rain', make it a thunder storm and not a spring shower.

Hi,

Long time lurker. I've been to Vegas before but in March I'm visiting with my g/f and her 8 year old son. Where can I stay that is kid friendly and not on the strip? Circus Circus seems blah to me. We are looking for a cheap hotel. Will only be going on the strip 1 day and traveling to Hoover Dam, Death Valley, and other parks for the most part. Everything I see online is either on the strip or in Laughlin. But we want something in Vegas if possible. Just not on the strip. Thanks!

the only "cheap" hotels, by Vegas standards, are dumps infested with drug users & hookers.

there are decent non-casino/strip places to stay like Homewood Suites, Residence Inn, La Quinta, etc. just go to their websites and take a look.

Along with South Point, Red Rock is a nice option with a Kids Quest, bowling, swimming, arcade, a lot of food options and movies. It's way off the strip and closer to your nature drives of Red Rock Canyon and Mt Charleston and Death Valley.

Awesome, thanks. That's what I was looking for.

If I want four Absinthe tickets, should I bother trying some sort of discounted route or will it not be meaningfully different from listed prices via Caesars or Ticketmaster?

^^^^ Since nobody else has responded I'm going to assume there are no readily available discounts. I've been twice and don't recall the ticket prices being that high to begin with and felt like paying the rack rate was well worth it.

One thing I will mention is that I've watched a few Las Vegas tips and tricks videos lately that mention that you can get a few bucks off if you scan the QR code for the venue and buy your tickets online. Save them the hassle of having a human help you which seems to be the way of the world now.

And they may have discounts for other venues that are owned by the same group. For Example: At the new Horseshoe (Harrahs) the Body exhibit is $33 at the door and the National Geographic exhibit is the same. But if you scan the QR code and buy your tickets online, they are discounted to $29 and you can buy tickets to the other venue for $10.

Curious if anybody has first hand experience with QR code discounts.

At any rate though, Absinthe is well worth the money.

While Absinthe is definitely worth the price... looking through my emails it has gone up from $89 to $119 to $129 the last three times I've been there. The earliest was in 2019. Now it looks like they are $155+

I think I used a vegas4locals coupon code for the $89 rate.

I checked vegasforlocals earlier today for Absinthe and they still link to the show but there is no discount. Cheapest mid-week seat was $139+ taxes and fees.

I did use them for a discount to see Tape Face and their coupon code saves about $9 a ticket.

While it's definitely not Absinthe, I think Identity only requires Sterling for Opium 2-for-1 tickets. At under $100 it is great value.

Thanks for the response. Happy to pay the rack rate, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something obvious as a discount. Looking forward to it!

Opium is from the same producers I think; is it not as good?

When Absinthe first opened I think it was only about $40. Wish I had gone to it then.

Yes. It's all Spiegelworld. Same with Atomic Saloon. Opium is the same humor, but more intimate (if that's possible). They do share the same acts, but it's not as physically impressive.

I was in AC this morning and while it's not open yet, Superfrico and a show is coming in the early summer. I probably still fly to Vegas instead, but that's pretty sweet.

I might be able to sit Friday night I'm hiking Zion the next 2 days.

I can't believe all these rooms closed especially The Mirage.

Looking for tourists especially since I haven't grinded in years.

Looking to play 1/2

Thanks for your help.
