I don't think it is at all stressful to walk at night in the places being mentioned, but I think it would be stressful for people who would freak out at encountering black people late at night with significant money in their pocket.

That someone would seek assurance that it is "totally fine" seems a tell that, for that person, some of your likely street sense may be lacking. Best stick to uber or a taxi.

(Just asking, isn't that stretch of Flamingo where Tupac was shot and killed ? )
Good point in regards to it being up to the individual and a red flag if assurances are being sought after.

Yes to Tupac.

The only time I've been accosted in that general area was during the middle of the day by a crack whore who was wheeling her trolley full of possessions and telling Polish jokes.

3am.

I'll add that directly opposite Tuscany on E Flamingo Rd (after Koval Ln) the entire lot belongs to the Hughes Center who have security patrols running 24/7. So stick to that sidewalk.

What ???? and miss the 3 am show at Club Platinum ?

(Just kidding, I have never set foot in that likely fine establishment, despite representing some other Las Vegas strip club operators in the past.)

Responding to very old quote from motorcycle guy. Be very careful considering a motorcyle trip in the extreme heat of the desert in June or July. I encountered a motorcycle rider in Wikieup, AZ returning from Vegas in June. He was in bad shape -- extremely overheated. Think twice.

I haven’t timed it but my best guess is that Tuscany to the Strip is around 15 minutes.
Seem to recall it being about 10 minutes, but I walk fast and it was November at the time

PHo to Virgin was 20-25 minutes on Harmon, which should match Tuscany to the Strip on Flamingo pretty close.

I would guess that picking the weekends when hotel rates are the highest is a decent heuristic.

This weekend (First week of March Madness) is probably the best of the year. Super Bowl is another good one. During huge field WSOP events obviously but the lists are long everywhere due to the volume of players in town.

If you’re looking to party, I think Memorial Day is the best weekend of the year. That weekend you can basically party Ibiza style from Friday afternoon til Tuesday morning almost non-stop if that’s what you’re into.

I doubt many people can manage to party all day at the pool at 110F before heading to the club..

EDC weekend is always crazy.

July 4th is plenty crowded. It's a sea of people on the strip for fireworks and despite the heat Marquee always seemed to be packed day and night.

I'd also agree with others that a major sporting event is a fun time to be in Vegas.

From what I've seen recently, car rental prices are through the roof. Where do you plan on going while in Vegas during the WSOP? If it's mostly staying on or near the Strip, there's better and cheaper options to move around.

Been on the strip my last 2 WSOP trips, and really want to get out of the buzz as soon as I bust a tourney and reset far from a hotel/casino. Food choices in the strip not really healthy and also very pricey. Gonna rent an Airbnb in spring valley. I don’t mind the drive as it actually give me some time to actually compose myself and setting my objectives for the day. Looked at renting cars months ago and it’s now doubled

Best option would be ride the bus imo. Make sure your Airbnb is close to a major street so it'll be on a bus route. I would suggest one close to West Flamingo as that will be a straight shot to Bally's.

I've been doing a bit of research on retiring to Vegas and keep hearing that the bus system sort of sucks...not so?

I highly recommend checking out autoslash.com . it is absolutely legit and there is no funny business. they find the best deal. I got a rental car in January for $100 total for Sun-Thur (originally it was $260).

Advantage Rent a Car is one of the cheapest but was a very smooth experience for me. it is literally right across the street from the Rental Car Complex. if you are picking up and returning during regular daytime hours it's a great option.

2+2ers usually know every Vegas secret, so is there a way to buy David Guetta tickets for 15th of May for cheaper than $125 ($162 after fees and taxes)?

thinking of spending a full week in Vegas around 4th of July. I believe WSOP will be happening so the poker rooms will be packed, but is there anything else special about/happening Vegas on 4th of July (other than hot)?
