Any info about these or other phone comparisons would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

^ I have a blackberry with Verizon too & service is good in & around Vegas. I was talking to a friend when I was in the desert between Vegas & LA once & the call dropped, but it was the middle of nowhere, so I imagine that was standard.

I'm pretty sure AT&T has pretty good coverage in those cities as well. Those two are the best providers I've dealt with.

Cool, thanks. What I was thinking is if you had not charged any meals to your room and had say $200 for two nights of the room fees, would they let you apply your $50 of comps to that?

I had AT&T service and found that I had a lot of "network busy" signals this past weekend, but strong bars everywhere I went. My friend had Verizon and had the same problem and likewise had strong signals everywhere.

They should.

And to all those who don't check out through the VIP room- it's nothing special, no secret tricks, you don't have to tip anyone, no reason to be intimidated by it. You just go to the VIP room in the morning before checking out, hand them your card and ask politely if they're able to adjust any of your room charges. Answer will be yes or no, and you're on your way.

For comps at end of stay, is it best to go through the front desk and ask them to reduce your bill or through a casino host? Anyone tried both? In particular for non-ballas like myself.

For best results, do both because they have different types of authority. The hosts pay off on the casino cards and "points." The front desk can look at how much you used the facilities and can get you a different break. Start with the host and they will tell if there is any point in trying to get a "double dip" at the front desk. It's not these people's $ so to them, we "non-ballas" are just business.

IMO O is weak (but not as weak as Ka). Mystere is the best I've seen in LV. Le Reve is a better water show than O imo.

I have seen Mystere now and was impressed but liked the water show of "O". Have not seen Le Reve so I can't compare it to O.

To change my statement.....

Out of the ones I have seen, "O" is my preference.

Hows the distance from Wynn to other casinos like planet hollywood? Google maps says 1.6 miles, 30 min. Is this correct? I reckon it kinda sucks walking for 30 min in the heat so is there any other easy means of transport?

You can walk it, it's not that bad. Can always duck into casinos along the way to get out of the heat. But you can also cab it, won't cost that much. If the strip is a mess it's better to take Koval.

Yeah, unless your budget is tight I would take a taxi. It will take more than 30 minutes because you have to cross quite a few traffic lights on the way.

Takes like 12 minutes late at night when there aren't a bunch of idiots are standing still, pretending they're walking.

I´ve booked a room @ MGM with a promo code for next week. Today I noticed that I have lost my confirmation number. Is this a problem?
Or can they get my reservation with the Credit Card Only.

Booking a new room would be not so great because the price is now higher without the specials of the promo.

Thanks in advance.
