The Knights games are worth every penny that you’ll pay. I paid $500 or so for a playoff game last year and it was EPIC. Plus in Vegas $500 seems like far less than it does back home. Sometimes you just have to splurge when you’re in town

Can always check out Hyde Lounge for Knights' games.

It's a fun atmosphere up there with a pretty good view & easy bar access. I was quoted $85 for standing room & $125 for reserved seating + $25 food & drink minimum. Not sure if that's for every game or what.

Not all tickets on the resale market sell. If you're willing to GAMBOL, walk over to the arena before the game and watch for ticket prices to plummet as you get closer to puck drop. I've heard of people sniping glass seats 10 minutes before the game starts for $80/each. The Kings game on 1/1 is going to be more fierce due to the a blossoming rivalry, but that still doesn't guarantee every ticket will sell.

Just curious if you mean hard tickets or on an online reseller.

Hard tickets do not exist. Everything is through FlashSeats, including the resale market. Anything else is buyer beware. They had a deal with StubHub last year, but the team is suing StubHub over excessive fees and some other things. StubHub, Craigslist, Facebook Market, scalpers (obviously), Seat Geek - none of them are endorsed by the team.

Anyone been to the Spa at Park MGM since the remodel? Worth visiting or better than the Spa at most Caesar's property?

Putting this on here for any of you locals/staff comments.

Aria Sports Bar last Wednesday about midday. Playing 25c max bet VP with a friend on adjacent machines. Bar tender will comp my drink but as my friend (on their second and probably last time to Vegas and not really a gambler) does not have a player's card will not comp his Bloody Mary. I ask if he can confirm that is correct and he says yes that's the rules.

I've never heard of this before. Surely if your betting complies with the comp policy then that's all that matters?

Ran into this recently at Mirage. Someone came over quickly and made me a card, but yeah was annoying and yeah seems like that’s their move now.

I am planning to take the girlfriend to Vegas next year. I have priced up a few hotels for a 5 night stay. Was just looking for some opinions on what people think is the best value here or ones to avoid. Resort fees included...

Vdara $772
Mandalay Bay $741
Treasure island $638
Park MGM $617
SLS $560
Linq $471

I would take Vdara from that list in a heartbeat. The only reason I can see for picking one of the other places would be if you want to stay at a casino. Or if money was a big issue, but seeing that you’re coming from Europe, that’s probably not the case?

Vdara

Nicest of the bunch and the difference in cost between that and other options is negligible.

Park MGM is probably the next best option, but it's a wild card since it's so recently redone and nobody really has much experience with it in it's new incarnation.

MM is a great time of the year, weather is good a great atmosphere and good poker. But poker is good pretty much most of the year but month after WSOP. With MM you get the bonus of BB but the cost will be a higher. So, if that is when you can go and it fits your price point then go for it, I don’t think you will regret it if that is what you are after. Search March Madness in Vegas on Facebook that group has all kinds of info, but read before yo ask the basic questions as they have been answered, I believe 23,414 time last count. Just go for it

Will be in town Jan 19-22. Mostly solo and looking to check out a couple shows. Specially penn and teller and carrot top. (Staying at Luxor) what’s the best place to purchase tickets for each?

I see that a site like Vegas.com is significantly cheaper then through their own site but are there other, Better sites?

If you are looking for a sure firm booking, ticketmaster.com is where you can get exactly what you are looking for and see your exact seats. Vegas.com is ok but usually it isn't clear on which seats you are getting and they frequently are not the best.

There are several https://www.tix4tonight.com/ booths in town and you can check them out for same day deals and general discounted tickets.

Goldstar.com and groupon.com will occasionally have some good deals.

GL!

It runs thru early April, Mostly Thursday to Sunday each week. Just saying it will be very busy during those times. Better to stay on the strip if possible and not have to travel around.
