I'm at MGM Grand and was staying in a first floor West wing room which was like staying in a basement. Upgraded to a 12th floor room in Grand Tower which was noisy as **** because of aircon exhaust fans they have nearby. Doesn't help turning aircon off, aircon in room isn't the issue. Upgraded AGAIN to a 22nd floor room and it's better but still what I would consider noisy. Am I just being unreasonable that there shouldn't be a constant low level bass drone in my room like I'm on a plane? I've stayed in Vegas twice before and don't remember this being a problem. Don't think of myself as a fussy person in general but googled and from what I can tell this isn't a super common complaint.

No, you're not being unreasonable; had the same thing happen to me at the Gold Coast . I had an end room and realized the same drone due to hallway air conditioner at 2 AM was keeping me awake and got moved to the middle of the floor and relief.

Whatever its source call security and front desk and move again.

Thanks. Yeah from what I can tell and what a maintenance guy said, the noise is from (a whole bunch of) exhaust fans on the roof like maybe 5 floors below my window. Which means a huge number of rooms on the property are going to have this issue. Hence the wondering if I'm being unreasonable. But like, it's legit noisy.

One of the best deals in Las Vegas is the coupon in the Las Vegas Advisor book for (2) tickets to the Mac King show, along with 2 drinks, for $18.99. Redeemable at the Mac King Box Office.

So, basically, you are just paying for the drinks, and the Mac King show is always enjoyable, year after year after year..

Don't think you need the Las Vegas Adviser coupon AFAIK. I got the same deal just by asking at the TR desk in Harrah's.

Depends on your walking speed. For reasonable fast walkers, it’s less than 10 minutes to Venetian or Bellagio. Wynn/Aria are like a mile to walk.
