There might be exceptions, but suites are generally the least cost-effective way to host larger parties. You will likely be better off with adjoining regular rooms somewhere. You can usually check suite prices and sizes on any hotel’s website.

not sure how costs compare but isn’t a MGM Signature or other condo type place the best for a large group if you can find availability? am thinking of that recent Euro TR

Need a good but not outrageously priced place for mani and pedi for wife. Also a good massage place too.

Hey guys. I bought a T-Mobile Sim when I got to LA from Australia and it worked fine there, but data speeds are unusable here in Vegas. I just went to a T-Mobile store and they said that my phone (Motorola G5) has an antenna that doesn't play nice with the towers here or some bull**** and I am just screwed, there's nothing they can do about it. Wanting a primer on what other US networks exist and what good options are. Obv I will need to discuss with the provider whether the situation is going to be any better with them or if I need to buy a cheap phone or something. I need decent service kind of urgently by tomorrow, pls halp. Thanks.

I'm a local with TMobile and have a phone purchased from them. I usually have crappy data around the strip as well. Was previously with Sprint and they were worse.

Basically I want to know who the fundamental networks are. IE not resellers. I don't want to cab out to random stores to try to fix this if it's same towers

Verizon and AT&T are the two biggest networks in the USA by far

I have struggled with T-Mobile on the Strip, but it was always useable for me.

If the T-Mobile & Sprint merger goes through, they’ll be basically the same size as Verizon and AT&T. But that’s a big “if” because the current political climate is not very favorable to having one of (then only) three big players controlled by a foreign bank and government.

AT&T works fine for me up and down the strip. Streaming music and video works with no issues.

Yeah thanks guys. I ended up having to buy a cheap phone. My phone just not compatible with towers in this city. Went with AT&T because happened to be at the store.

I have Verizon and it works great everywhere in the city except where I live (S/SW). I never have more than one bar at home and I drop every call I make multiple times. Curious if anyone lives in the SW and has a provider that actually works well there. I live in a newer housing development and I wonder if it's a Verizon issue or just a lack of towers issue since the area was just a big sandbox a few years ago.

Any idea what time I should get out of Vegas tomorrow morning to avoid traffic on the 15 south? I'm only going to Barstow, not all the way to LA, if that makes a difference.

I never travel it but hear/see the news of the traffic jams on Sundays headed to Cali.
I would leave like 8am to play it safe, but I hate traffic.

It'll back-up big time at Primm starting around Jean. (Might take two hours to get there) Then usually after that it's pretty smooth unless there's a wreck. 2 of the last 4 years a semi has wrecked on the 15th causing a mess during this weekend.

I'm at MGM Grand and was staying in a first floor West wing room which was like staying in a basement. Upgraded to a 12th floor room in Grand Tower which was noisy as **** because of aircon exhaust fans they have nearby. Doesn't help turning aircon off, aircon in room isn't the issue. Upgraded AGAIN to a 22nd floor room and it's better but still what I would consider noisy. Am I just being unreasonable that there shouldn't be a constant low level bass drone in my room like I'm on a plane? I've stayed in Vegas twice before and don't remember this being a problem. Don't think of myself as a fussy person in general but googled and from what I can tell this isn't a super common complaint.
