How does the scam work?
You get sold a factory-sealed box of bricks. At least that's what happened to a dumb guy I know a long time ago.

Not sure where this belong.

So I need records from Rio/Harrahs that I bought in wsop in 06 (ME) and 08 (3 events) for tax purposes.

They havent answered for 08 yet and have answered 'I'm sorry, we do not have access to records for 2006. Perhaps you can find your information here as evidence. http://www.pokerpages.com/tournament/result13635.htm '.

Is there anyone on 2+2 posting that works with wsop that maybe could help me document this, or could PM a email adress for some wsop tournament staff that seemed helpfull and friendly (I had too mail 3 times trough random harrahs mail system to get 1, two sentence answer and it was a year after first mail).

My answer is just from random Harrahs mail clerk (harrahs@custhelp.com), and Im pretty sure they have records off this stuff..

So basically any advice/email adress that will get me proof of my play in the wsop after paying trough cage?

Thanks a lot

Blopp

I'm a NLHE micro-grinder. Never played in a casino. I'm going to Vegas in mid-August for a few days. I'm just looking to find a good table with others like me to play some soft micro-stakes NLHE, mostly just for fun but wouldn't mind a little profit. I plan on playing with about $200. Any suggestions?
What are the softest games? What are the lowest stakes?
Any tips would be help for or directions to where this question has been answered already.
Thanks in advance.

$200 isn't a lot of money. You'll probably want more unless you're playing for one afternoon only.

Check allvegaspoker.com for lists of tables. I think the smallest NLHE games are 1/2 or 1/3 and they run just about everywhere. I also believe there's a general consensus that most games at that level are indistinguishably soft.

I'm only going to play for one day, maybe two, just a few hours at a time while the gf does other stuff. Can I buy-in for $200 anywhere without shortstacking?

1/2 games, which are the lowest NL you'll find will have max buy-ins at 200-$300. Try to bring another $100 and go with 2 $150 buy-ins.

First trip to Vegas this weekend. Looking to grind at least a couple decent MTT's with an $80-200 buyin, larger fields (70+ players), and decent enough structure.

So far from what I've gathered online, Caesar's and Venetian seem like my best bet. Any other suggestions ?

Browse or search 2+2's very own Brick & Mortar forum.

There have been numerous threads on it.

The short answer is yes. A few places may even deal NL100.

I don't think this warrants a full thread but there was no general Q's thread unfortunatly.

Anyway, I'm planning to go out to vegas sometime in the next 8 months, but I've no idea when the best time to go is regarding the state of play, weather, general population, cost of living, etc.

I'm only planning on going out for about a week and playing a bunch of $100-250 tournies, hanging out in the pool/bars and getting wasted pretty much.

Any info is appreciated.

What's missing? Not the Mirage noon tourney started <2 weeks ago. Not the Harrah's 1 pm that started 2 or 3 days ago. What information is out of date, and where can you find that information if you don't frequent some specific casino you're looking for?

You could be helpful and contribute using their tourney update form. Or be a douche and just complain about it here.

That site is far more up to date than it has been in the past. They have been updating a lot of the room reviews and the tournament info as well. If you know of something that is not right let LVM know and I am sure he will get it corrected. With all the tourneys going on in many different rooms out there it is pretty hard to keep it totally up to date all the time.

start times for some of the tournaments are not correct. of course its tough to keep a page like this up to date because things are constantly changing. but that's no excuse for having incorrect info. maybe i was a little too harsh, the page is not total crap.

I'm staying at the Bellagio for a few days, what are some good options for quicker/cheaper breakfast within walking distance?

Snacks, near the Bellagio poker room, has some great breakfast items. Bagel sandwiches with home fries and the like.

Reasonable, close, and quite quick.

Could someone recommend a good nightclub for tonight? Needs to have plenty of beautiful and somewhat approachable women! Myself and a Danish 2+2er are ready for some dancing, lots of drinking and of course chatting to as many girls as possible.

Good luck. Especially the Dane, who probably has a pretty high bar as to what qualifies as "beautiful".

Went to Prive in the end, which was fun but damn expensive! Got repeatedly groped by moderate hot chicks, which isn't a bad thing. Also got thrown out for being a little too drunk at the end of the night, that is always amusing!

God bless Las Vegas.
