the best is the sportsbook that has the highest odds for the team that u want to bet

but since u would have to physically go to each sportsbook to figure that out...the vegas books that typically have less vig/hold (i.e. better odds for u) on those types of bets are:

westgate
william hill (they have a book at SLS)
maybe cantor also (they have a book at venetian and cosmopolitan)

Will Hill also runs the Casino Royale book if you don't want to get off the center strip.

But yeah, if you're betting an amount of money you care about, you're crazy not to line shop all the Vegas books and bet accordingly.

Is wiring money to the casino you will be playing at the most and keeping it on deposit the safest way to handle large amounts in vegas? Will they do this for poker players or only people gambling at casino games? I assume getting a box would be pointless/not feasible during the busy summer especially when not going for the whole summer? Thx

your best bet is to call and ask, but anytime i have front money at the cage they'll give you chips at the cage to go use for play. If you need to cash though that's a whole other scenario that they're not cool about

The last time I wired money to the Wynn they refused to give me chips unless I pulled it out at a table. In previous years it wasn't a problem and perhaps I screwed up by not directing it to the poker room. Either way, make sure to clarify that before you wire so you don't run into the mistakes / problems I made in the past.

I literally almost ran into Dnegs today while he was heading back to the set to finish HU play in the SHRB. It was pretty cool, he was just walking through the casino like a normal person. I told him congratulations and he said thanks. Pretty cool way to start out the summer

Are we still treating poker pros like they're celebrities or something? Haven't been keeping up.

Do the uber/lyft divers get kickbacks from liquor stores / dispensaries ect.(just as with strip clubs)?

Was in town a bit ago with some buddies and we had a really cool driver with a karaoke microphone blasting music for us. We adjusted our ride from airport-->hotel and had him stop at a liquor store & dispensary on the way. It was pretty clear he took us to places where he received kickbacks - but we were still charged for the entire route/ride he gave us. I believe we tipped him as well.

Not a huge deal but just wondering if that's standard or if we should have expected a little bit of a break on the fare.

Is using Bank of America a decent alternative to carrying a lot of cash with you to LV? I'm thinking of setting up an account and then going to a branch there to withdraw.

I’ve had no issue withdrawing 20k from BoA multiple times. About $8 Uber ride to get there from center strip

I take about 500 Uber rides a year and live Las Vegas and I’ve never once had a driver try to take me to any place other than the destination I gave the driver onht app. Were you asking for him to take you to certain places like strip clubs, liguria stores, and then he made a recommendation for a strip club, liquor store, etc. he liked and you want there? If that’s the driver is obviously driver’s getting a kickback fro the owner’s, promoter’s, etc. of the establishments the driver brought you to
