Definitely accurate. Best times to play LLNL would be Super Bowl and first weekend of March Madness.

Are they jacked up? Quick glance looks in range of usual.

And 3/17 is St. Patrick's Day.

Have looked through Pokeratlas and already got a general idea, but still curious from you experienced people. Whats the best value daily tournament where you can play fairly deep stacked poker - if any? My only restriction is that it´s above $100 buyin.

O was great, just pay them all the money.

We sat in Loge, which was one row at the back of Orch. Seats were great. There's enough acrobatics that while sitting up front could be cool, I'd want to sit halfway back in Orch or more.

Been thinking about switching up credit cards. Currently have a Southwest Premier Card. It's been nice. With my spending, it allows me to have 2-3 flights per year free so that's always nice. It costs $100/year which is kind of annoying but obviously that is outweighed by the 2-3 flights. Recently, my hometown airport has been getting more and more cheap airlines (Spirit, Allegiant, and another one I can't remember) and sometimes I wonder if I can get more out of a credit card while incorporating flights from these cheaper airlines.

Southwest is nice because I've never dealt with some of the horror stories that I hear about with the cheapo airlines. It also flies to a lot of locations from my home hub which is also nice. I'm just wondering if anyone has any credit cards that they think may be better? I've heard Chase Sapphire may be better? Also, anything that will help make Vegas cheaper would be great! As I said, I currently have my flights out there paid for through my SW card but still end up paying a decent amount for rooms as I never have gotten out of the baseline TR level with my players card.

Thanks!

Chase Sapphire is the best card out there and you can transfer your points 1:1 into your Rapid Rewards account (or use them to buy flights directly thru Chase with other airlines).

The Hyatt Visa gets you free parking as well and you get 40k Hyatt points. Use to get 2 free nights at any hotel irregardless of points, but they watered down that signup bonus last year.

How far will a 55k a year job get you in Vegas? Coming from Seattle it seems low, bit looking at zillow there are many apartments under $900 whereas I'm paying 1500 in Seattle.

Its a corporate position at a major strip casino.

Loads of people here in corporate positions are making less than that and surviving, especially without family. Plenty of roommate opportunities also, esp in this community

Aria cancelled its nightly 7pm due to the high roller. What’s the next best nightly? Venetian?

Keep in mind, no state income tax either. It makes a pretty significant difference.

We booked Friday and Saturday nights, June 1 and 2, at a non-CET property.

We booked 5 comp nights on total rewards website for a Sunday through Thursday, June 3 through (checkout on the) 9th at Caesar's Palace.

We just discovered that we will be able to extend the trip on the front end, and would like to book a stay at a CET property for May 30 and 31, nights for which we are also offered comps.

Are those two trips far enough apart to allow both to be comped? We don't want to book the earlier two nights and somehow screw up the five night reservation. We don't warrant the services of a host and getting a straight answer on the phone has so far proven harder than nailing jello to the wall.

If it lets you book it then it is fine.

Sadly, it didn't, but paying for two nights out of nine isn't bad.

I'm not 100% sure, but I've heard if you call in you can do bookings 48 hours apart. Regardless, you should be able to book the first day as a comp (72 hours between reservations required for CET).

I have a few questions that I hope some of you experts can answer.

1: The total rewards diamond status has a benefit of 15% off best advertised room rates. Does this stack with their promotions than? Example: They currently have 20% off promotion currently so if I was diamond would I get 35% off. Would the military discount add another 10% to that?

2: The total rewards credit card offers 5% back at total rewards properties. Would this apply to the WSOP buy ins?

3: I will have a $100 celebration dinner vouch and I am going alone. Where is a good place to get tasty food where I can spend the entire $100 without going over.

Speaking of TR, I recently got an email saying they would upgrade you to Diamond Status if you brought in a qualifying card status from other properties. There were a ton of properties in the list, including both my AZ only casinos.

I have no idea about that specific discount, but have never seen a promotion where discount percentages were added.

For example, if you have a 20% discount and a 15% discount, best case is usually that they apply both. First the 20% one, then the 15% (or the other way round). But they never add them to each other before applying.

As for the food question, you need to be a little more specific. There are probably less than 10 restaurants in Vegas where you can’t eat for (almost) exactly $100. You just get more food at McDonalds than at Cut for that money.
