You're not allowed to film on any private property without consent of the premises owner.

That said, we know that usually nobody cares unless you're doing it for commercial purposes. Pools and gyms are an exception to that though, people will get upset if they suspect you to film them. We've had security remove somebody from Wet Republic after a friend caught him for the second time taking cell phone pictures of our cabana.

I don't think anybody will mind you doing some Facebook live of your group, but using a GoPro without making sure you don't capture other people is a clear no-no.

Okay good to know. Wasn't to film random people just our group briefly. Just want to make sure that if I have it on me I won't get denied entry.

(Almost) all day/night clubs have video- and SLR cameras on their list of prohibited items. So I guess you can't complain if they don't let you enter with a GoPro.

That said, I've seen countless people with cameras inside clubs, especially in the couple of years (2009 - 2012?) when Polaroid cameras made a brief comeback. If you have a table/cabana reservation, there's a decent chance nobody will really check the contents of your bag anyway, probably because they are afraid to have to kick a VIP out for bringing drugs.

For MGM properties, you have to put in 20 bucks and bet 5 bets (1.25) on a machine to get drinks.

When it comes to day clubs are there deals like those tix4tonite booths or is it best to buy ahead of time? Just wondering because the weather looks like **** this weekend.

I imagine any of the bigger sportsbook would give it premier viewing. It would be cool to see one casino really become the "official" sportsbook of the LVGK.

First game will be shown prominently everywhere since it's on a Friday night without significant college football competition and before the start of the NBA season. So the only other thing going on are the MLB playoffs.

Second game is Saturday night and I would assume NCAAF is taking over on most screens. But since it's a night game, at least there's only West Coast competition.

Today might be a little busier because UCLA plays at 9AM PT, but in general you won't have any trouble finding a spot if you arrive in time for the early games. Even in Vegas, casino floors are pretty empty in the morning.

curious about the fashion show at caesers this month. Their marketing is so over the top with wording its hard to tell and Couldn't find anything online about "one of our most talked about evnts of the year"

Also about the email that new years invites are coming, still haven't got the followup and the rodeo finals. Is the new years probably nothing? How's the rodeo in dec, just a sausage fest?

arriving at MGM Grand saturday 9/23 for a week with reservation for a "run of house" room. Not at all familiar with the property. Any suggestions about type of room I should realistically have a shot at getting with the $20 strategy?

Look into their room types and go from there. Mention that it's a special occasion and ask nicely

The MGM Grand is so big that you might also want to base it on where the room is located in the building. If your room is far away from the next elevator, it might take you 15 minutes just to get to the pool or Strip.

True story. Mgm is terrible for rooms being nowhere near anything.

I've never stayed at the Linq, before or after the name change. I'm going to be there all of next week and my rates are just about exactly the same for the Linq or Planet Hollywood. Is PH significantly better? Pretty much just talking about the rooms as any poker will be played at B more than likely. Quietness is a definite positive. I'm in town for work so it will be early to rise and early to bed.

I think ph is better than the linq room-wise, but the linq location and stuff around it is much better. But there's really not much of a difference to be honest

This is definitely an important factor that must be taken into consideration! Does the noise from carnival court not blare into the linq rooms? I used to stay at Harrahs regularly, years ago, and it was horrible.
