Clubs make sure the male-female ratio is decent.

I like Marquee and Wet Republic, others prefer Encore Beach Club or Rehab. Can't go wrong with any of those.

Conference at Mandalay Bay coming up. Hotel options: Monte Carlo, MGM, NYNY. Thoughts? Especially if I don't necessarily want to cab/uber every time I move?

Usually stay center strip, haven't been to LV in a few years. God I hate saying that. And yet I love being able to say that because lolvegas

Slam dunk mgm for me. The rooms are IME so much nicer, and that matters to me. Plus pool, plus food. To MB is a quick walk over to Excalibur for the (free) tram. And if you want to go to center strip it's an easy uber up koval -- can avoid major roads. Or can walk to Monte Carlo (also easy - just leave from north exit) and tram as mentioned by homer.

Have tried $20 trick at MGM for room type, but haven't had much success. Have had moderate success getting them to waive resort fees after failing to upgrade room.

I like the regular rooms at MGM though. Be warned though - i haven't stayed there in 4 years.

Check-in to elevators is fine if you are in the main tower. Check-in to strip is a little bit of a walk.

Not a Vegas specific question, but a gambling one.

I've never played Pai Gow at a casino. I've read that when you scoop in Pai Gow, you win your bet, minus 5% commission. How exactly do they take the commission? Say it's a $10 min. table.

Encore Beach club might be the greatest place in Las Vegas. But yea, you can't go wrong with any of those. The day clubs are far better than the night clubs in my opinion.

They use to be Michelob Ultras. Not sure if that's still the case. Probably not the best EV early on but I guess gets more EV as the night goes on. (Unless you're into getting tanked off Ultras)

Do they still have the best odds on blackjack switch? (for any strip property)
