Thing about Bellagio is that through the years and the various changes to the place, they have always managed to keep it feeling classic. I would take their aesthetic every day over Aria or Palazzo. It's pretty impressive that the casino has never lost it's great design in the past two decades.

So yeah, MGM is probably ruining it by taking out the canopies.

Part of that decision is the fact that they can probably lay off a few custodians that were in charge of dusting and cleaning them.

Do the pit tables still have embroidered Bellagio logos on them or is just painted on like the rest? I guess it's a good thing I don't know the answer to this. :-)

On the positive side, the sportsbook does look better w/o those starting gates above the clerks. Always thought that was dumb.

Yeah, same here. Learned a lot of random things about the city and architecture in general too. Jesus, just realized I was probably viewing that site more than a decade ago now.

Roughly double double the price of a double double at any other In 'n Out, I'd guess.

Gonna go ahead a apologize now, but I didn't use the search function first. So i'm staying at Harrah's, which club around that hotel is worth going to? I'm thinking Omnia in Caesars. But then again XS and Surrender are next door. Only ones I've been to before are Marquee and Drai's Night Club.

Thanks in advance.

I expect much cannibalization of the dean Martin location. Are these corporate or franchised stores? Same owner for both?

Surprisingly reasonable difference.

They're all corporate, In n Out doesn't franchise.

Could someone remind which Harrah's tower is which/better? Have a free room over Super Bowl weekend. Don't care about view so much, but for what it's worth, I'm being offered both Carnaval Tower High Roller View and Mardi Gras Tower Pool View. Is Mardi Gras tower the one closer to the casino? Gracias.

Going to Vegas for a week, but the one type of room really desired at the resort staying at isn't available until three days into the trip. Was thinking about just staying at the same property in two different rooms, but this would give an opportunity to experience another location.

I am thinking about Vdara as I plan on playing a daily tournament at Aria the second day of the stay.

Good idea?

I am attracted to the tournament due to the starting stack and length of levels.

Mardi Gras tower is closer to the Strip. Not sure which is supposed to be better, but I stayed at Carnaval tower last month and was completely satisfied and pleasantly surprised. I expected much worse. Also, the newly renovated rooms are the ones in "Valley Tower"

The alternative to staying at Vdara and playing in an Aria tournament is staying at Mirage and playing there.

One thing I like to do before making my decisions is examining tournament structure and while I found the structure for Aria's $240 buy-in, I couldn't find the structure for Mirage's $120 buy-in?

Anyone know it off the top of their head?

No clue about the tournaments but I would expect ARIA's to have a better structure. Still, with Uber in Vegas it's super cheap to go from hotel to hotel. My ride from Encore to Bellagio was $6.21.

Aria's is going to be better. If you're going to play a daytime tournament on the weekend, play the noon at Wynn. Lowest rake in town, bar none (roughly 10%; Aria is second best that I've found at 18%).

Vdara is a good, if not excellent choice, with respect to Mirage .

For cheap, nothing beats the feet.

Even though it is next to Aria, I had never considered Vdara due to it not having a casino. For the price, it seems like you get a lot.

You can walk from Mirage to ARIA, but personally I'd say Uber is definitely > feet. Both are super cheap. One is way more convenient.
