Do trips outside of Vegas count? As I said eailer, I play in a total rewards property every weekend and almost never use comps while there. I'll try to make sure I give play prior to redeeming any points while in lv

staying in the hotel 100% trips you as there with $0 play if you dont play with the exception of checkout day at all CET props as well as cosmo. Cant confirm elsewhere

Given a choice between a poker trip in the first week of November vs the first week of December, is there anything that should make one preferable to the other? Assume pure gambling, no nightlife/entertainment, traveling solo, mostly cash games, no interest in tournaments bigger than the largest regular daily/weekly events.

It only makes it higher compared to the weeks behind it, which are the cheapest of the year. Will still probably be cheaper in December than November.

Hmm, looks like there are some days in the first week of November where a few hotels I looked at were sold out. It appears to coincide with the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week convention with an estimated 140k attendees. CES had about 176k earlier this year, for comparison.

Regarding the use of Uber or Lyft in Vegas -

If you're at a hotel, where do they pick you up? Can they use the same area as the cabs?

Where do they pick you up at the airport?

I've seen a promo for $50 free on Lyft. Are there enough Lyft cars around to always get a ride?

uber makes it clear in the app where you go, and both hotels (and airport) have signs for "ride share." It's never been a problem and you can always ask.

There is a separate area from cabs, usually in the same place but not always. They can't get in the cab line or anything.

I got some email offering my 1,000 Caesars Tier Credits. All I need to do is click on 'Accept Gift'. Should I worry about anything?

I only have like 1k credits currently, and I'm not going to be in Vegas until next WSOP... Not sure if I'll get penalized for taking this gift in some way or not.

i doubt you'll get penalized, but 1,000 tier credits is only 6% of what you need to get diamond, so it's probably not worth the risk in case it's a virus

-Lots of screens so can watch all games
