i do believe many uber drivers would be angry about it. that's because the average vegas uber driver is a little dumb. the way you know they are dumb is if they were a little smarter, they would be a cabbie.

I thought they were dumb because they are/were also cabbies.

Hey all, I'm doing a trip to Zion and returning to Vegas for a Sunday night before my flight home on Monday.

I realize it won't have the same action as a fri/sat - but what are my best odds for a fun time Sunday night? Not really looking for a club exactly, but more just some place with high energy where I could go drinking with a lady friend.

Any highly recommended Cirque shows?

Going with the gf in a couple months, we were looking at doing a Cirque show while we're out there. I've seen Absinthe but have never seen a Cirque show before. We're both late 20s, open to pretty much anything, and both fans of the Beatles and their music.

Well obviously you're leaning towards Love when referencing the Beatles, but I haven't seen that one. I thought O and Zarkana were great, Ka put me to sleep.

Love would seem the obvious choice then, unless there's something I'm missing.

The consensus from most people I've asked is that Ka and Mystere are the best 2, maybe followed by O.

I've only seen Mystere so can't really comment to compare.

Love is a good show and since you both like the Beatles seems like a great choice. Mystere is considered one of the best as well. Everyone's personal tastes will vary though.

Assume the answer is yes but does anywhere on the strip (thinking the shops at PH or the fashion show mall) sell NFL jerseys? If so what sort of $$$ am I looking at? Cheers

I've seen Mystere and Love. Mystere was OK, loved Love.

Me three, literally. Glad I'm not alone!

Mystere was great though, a balance of comedy and acrobatics.

Everyone I've asked about O has thought it was at least OK, and many enjoyed it.

I've searched airbnb and craigslist but I'm wondering are there better sites to find a place to stay in Vegas for random days mid June to Mid July for WSOP? Do any poker players here own places they rent out or know anybody who is renting their place out?

I know somebody who is renting their 3-bedroom house with a swimming pool, but I can't find anybody willing to commit to booking it around June ~19 up to July ~9.

I have not seen O but would like to. I have seen Le Reve at the Wynn (both are water shows) which has similar reviews and most seem split pretty much 50/50 between which is the better show although on trip advisor most seem to think Le Reve wins out. I enjoyed that show but not as much as Love or Mystere, again everyone's personal preferences will vary.

The more I think about it, the more I think Love is my favorite show I have seen so far. I enjoyed Mystere/Le Reve greatly as well and I would say those have some more amazing (individual) acrobatic scenes but I found Love to be the most entertaining overall from start to finish.

I would recommend reading reviews here: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attracti...as_Nevada.html

Just keep in mind not all reviews are realistic and go with what the majority of them seem to be saying. Also, don't take the rankings literally. I would not compare a free show like Bellagio fountains (which is currently rated #1 and while still cool) to a show you are paying around $100/ticket for (which I think is better but not in the same category). Some of the rankings get manipulated by cheapskates, but overall if you read several reviews I've found my expectations are normally pretty consistent with what I read there.

Enjoyed O, La Reve, Mystere, & to a lesser extent Ka & Zarkana (RIP). Haven't seen Love, not into the Beatles.

It's funny how often we have the Cirque convo.

I liked Mystere a lot. Ka put me to sleep as well. Mystere ususally has tickets available at the discount ticket places, I think. At least they did when I went. I went midweek and despite paying for the cheap seats at the discount place, I was moved up to 3rd row when being seated! Slow night and they wanted to fill in the close rows.

after doing some more research looks like it lasts until July 5th unfortunately, I'd love to participate in the WSOP but I realize I can't as I'm only able to go to vegas on july 1st to july 4th, because of my job. How are and where are the best non WSOP tournaments during the WSOP? Is it worth it to still visit and play daily tourneys and/or cash games? Thanks!

Well, if you're still playing on July 5 you might make some "eff off job" money. 😉

Lots of good cash/tourney action around town that weekend. Check the "Vegas summer tournament schedule"thread for more info.

Anyone know if I get any type of "credit" in the comp system for using a comp and staying at a CET property?

Heading back to Vegas in June for a bachelor party and staying at a non-CET property, but have free rooms available through Total Rewards. Assuming I give CET the same amount of play whether I book the CET room or not, any benefit to booking the CET room comps-wise, or should I save the resort fees (pretty much no way I actually use the room)?
