Looks really good! Well done and it has utility. There are so many strip images on Google images that take you to advertisements or webpages, which is a pain the ass.

The only thing I would mention is that I would assume that Venetian and Palazzo would be categorized as independent based on the diagram legend (Total Rewards, M-Life, or Independent are the only 3 options). However, I am not sure who your audience is (I admittedly have not followed the thread, so if that is mentioned, I apologize). If it is for regulars of Vegas; they would understand. If it is for tourists, then they may be confused why the Venetian and palazzo are in yellow, which is not part of the diagram legend.

Thanks. I thought it would be redundant to have Encore/Wynn and Venetian/Palazzo to have a legend that says the same things, but the colors would show that those pairs are related. Maybe I'll make then white, and then remove the red line that separates them, make it more similar to the Caesar's/Forum Shops part of the map.

I see you have just airbrushed it out of existence though. Should have at least labelled it "suicide tower" or something...
Couldn't think of a good one.

Is it possible to bring a GoPro to the pool parties at Wet republic / Night swim etc? Not planning on filming that much but would be fun to at least have clips from the parties.

If I manage to "smuggle" it in. What will happen if I get caught? Throw me out/take the GoPro or would it be like the'll just walk up to me and give me a warning and let me put it back in my bag.

I filmed some with my iPhone last trip to Vegas but with some alcohol in my I decided to film some from the middle of the pool, ending up with my phone dead.

PSA

Every so often TapTalk updates the app and when they do they default turn signatures back to on. Thus you have that annoying signature line at the end of your posts.

Has anybody here stayed at Palace Station (Courtyard) and regretted it? Many people have tried to talk me out of staying at Binion's, Imperial Palace before and now Circus Circus, but all my Las Vegas hotels turned out to be better than the hotels I've stayed at in Canada. Can anybody confirm that Palace Station still has poker games? Anybody else staying there between June ~13 and July ~9?

Not sure if you like low FL/Spread Limit games, but that's what's running there right now on a Saturday night-

I'm starting to plan my next Vegas trip which will be going down in a couple months. It made me realize I never posted my TR from my last trip in December 2014. It was pretty epic, would members of the forum still enjoy reading the TR even though it's over a year old. I still have some pictures and notes from my phone I kept in order for me to post.

^^^ If you are planning on doing a TR for your upcoming trip, I would just wait until a week or so before and start a thread for that trip. Then start that thread with your last trip. Will get you psyched for the upcoming trip and then we can flame you if you take a year to finish it.

Or dare I say LIVE TR this time?

Quick question: I'll be in Vegas for a Sunday-Thursday with my in-laws in August. I've played cash at Bellagio/Venetian/Aria in the past but never tournaments. I'm looking for the best room that combines a fun <75$ tourney for my father in law and 1-3/2-5NL cash for me.

Do any of your Las Vegas locals ever worry about the sustainability of the water supply? I've never really considered living there because I'm too Doomsday driven when making major life choices (ie buying a house).

Things may have changed but I had a GoPro at Marquee pool party during the day 4 years ago. No issues

I've stayed at Palace Station. It's a decent place. Rooms are definitely better than Binion's and IP.

Here's a really good piece written last summer that should hopefully assuage your concerns.

I was impressed with a recent stay at Palace. They have two types of rooms, tower and courtyard. The pool (untried) is in the courtyard section. The tower has large cheap comfy rooms, 12N checkout, parking/Starbucks/24H Grand Cafe at the bottom of the elevators. The Oyster Bar is open 24H, have a lobster pan roast for breakfast and you'll be the only one there. Plenty of other things to like, except of course for the pokerz.

Top 5 romantic locations in las vegas?

I proposed on a hike in Red Rock Canyon in May, so I'm partial to that. This particular hike was to a vista that opened up to a view of the strip. Was super quiet and we had several minutes alone to enjoy the moment.

Restaurant engagement, I'd go with Picasso as mentioned in fine dining. You can time it with a Bellagio fountain show if you want.

I think a lot of the other spots with views get too crowded for an intimate moment.
