Wynn has outlets at the table, but you need the actual plug that goes in the wall, not just a USB cable. The room is moving soon and there are supposed to be USB chargers at new tables.
lol, never heard of the cabana rooms, so went to see what my rates would be. without signing in TR they were available, and semi expensive. when I signed in they were all magically sold out!
I'm taking my wife and in-laws in August for four nights at SLS. I realize August is sub-optimal (hot!) but our respective schedules plus the price ($47CDN + resort fee per room) made this a good fit.
I've been to Vegas a few times and feel like I know the Strip decently well for the types of things I want do. However, the in-laws have never been and I know they'll love the kitschier stuff which I'm less familiar with.
I'm looking for advice on shows, buffets (been to Wynn/Cosmo/Caesars), happy hours, restaurants and just generally the type of thing people think a fifty year old couple might like.
I'm also debating whether to rent a car or not. SLS has a shuttle (I think?) and that takes care of the airport trip so I'm leaning toward no and using Uber mostly.
I always rent(ed -- I live here now) a car. It pays for itself vs one uber a day, and you can go lots of interesting places. Plus anything you need -- food of all kinds, groceries, case of water, starbucks, sunscreen, headache meds, etc. are all easy access. But mostly I loved being able to go where I wanted when I wanted. Downtown, strip, Chinatown, pinball HOF, red rock for hiking, neon boneyard, ...
They are not yet charging at any of them; it has been announced that they will start charging sometime during the second quarter of the year (April-June), eventually at all MGM properties except Circus Circus.
For the two free show tickets monthly, how does the timing work? Is it each calendar month or every 30 days? My next trip straddles June/July, so wondering if I can get two in late June then two more a few days later in early July?
Hey! (Back again with The rooom questions)
We are 4 people and we are discussing where to stay!
Last trip we went to Vdara and took a city corner suite but then we were only 3 people.. Now we are 4.
So now we cant decide to either stay 4 ppl in same suite or take 2?
Pros with 2 suites :
More space
Pros with 1 suite:
More fun to stay all in same room
Probably would save 1500$-2000$ by only taking 1 room.
Have anyone here stayed 4 ppl in a city corner suite at vdara Before? Thoughts?
Iirc you could "rent" an extra bed at vdara. So 2 ppl in The kingsiZe, one in bedsofa and one in extra bed.
Oooor... Iirc there was a door to The hotel room next door that we could open (if The neighbours opened theirs).. Is it posible to rent 2 suites next to each other? (Guess its one regular suite and one corner suite then?)
Or could anyone else recommend a hotel for 4 guys for 10 days. Budget 4k$-ish
