With that said, there will still be plenty of games going. How good they are just depends on your skill level.

Yeah I was in town during the Colossus last year and it was insane but amazing haha. Would looove to do it again but unfortunately due to real life commitments I can't make it out until late June/July this time. I'm not a pro by any means but have always done well at low stakes cash.

It's more of a moral position, but much like the view some have of supporting Venetian/Adelson I recognize that it's my position and to each his own.

Going to Vegas here in 2 weeks with a bachelor party - what's acceptable club attire? Never been before, and don't really have anything dressy apart from business casual work clothes.

here's your chance to buy a suit, you will need one some day to go to a wedding or a funeral, so why not buy it now and hit the club in style

Look at it this way. For the price of one bottle in the club, or a few drinks and lap dances at the strip club, you can own your own suit.

Not sure if anyone will have any advice for me but I am going out for my first wsop from june 24- july 1st. I have a timeshare and can get a week at The Grandview for ~$300 for the week or Wyndham Desert Resort for ~$400 for the week. GPS says Grandview is an 11 minute drive to rio and Wyndham is a 7 minute drive. Anyone have any experience with either of these places or advice as far as convenience?

Thanks

suit without a tie is pretty common for the nicer clubs, but works all over Vegas

youll see people at the 24 hour cafe in a suit often

I've been in these places for business reasons but have never stayed there. The amenities are pretty nice from what I've seen. The most surprising thing was how CROWDED they were especially during the summer (families flock to these places believe it or not). I know both are in higher traffic areas so I would allow more time to get to the Rio but neither is really all that far.

Anyone know where I can find a list of casinos that offer the "loss rebate" promo? The only one I could find so far is the Plaza offering a $500 loss rebate. Thanks!

Casino royal has one. But it is only 25 rebate I believe.

No. Most people wear smart shoes, jeans and a collared shirt.

Hey, if we are 4 guys planning on going to vegas for 2 weeks in the beginning of may.

Either we'll just take 2 rooms but we'd prefer if we could take a 2bedroom suite. Where do you recommend?

Best if its 2 bedroom with 2 queen size bed in each room, but if its a king it works also.
How much would it cost to take a 2bedroom suite? We have maybe a budget of 6k$ for 2 weeks? Is that to liiiiitle? If its awesome we can probably go up to 7-8k$.

And it would be great if the room had a couch aswell where you could sleep a couple of nights, because we have a friend that might stop by and say hi.

Maybe Elara? 2 bedroom suites look about $500 per night.

Most 2BR suites don't have two queen beds in each room. You will also get more bang for your buck with two separate rooms- $500 or so a night for one suite won't get you in a top tier hotel, but $500 a night for two regular rooms will. Can always get them adjoining.

Elara actually looks quite nice?

And have a great location on the strip. And we dont have to pay resort fees??

On another note, IF you book hotels on hotels.com are resort fees included? A friend said that hotels included IT in the price. I know that Expedia doesnt

I remember seeing a thread that the Wynn poker room is moving to Encore. Did this happen or is it planned to?

If I book through mlife.com. Is it possible to pay everything in advance.

It just says 220$ deposit and 3500$ upon arrival. But can I chose to pay everything right now?

Check out The Grandview next to South Point. It has 2 bedrooms, separate living room, kitchen and a washer/dryer. There is no casino but South Point is right next door. What I like is its away from the strip. It's perfect for what you need.
