Pairing your account with a companion reduces the room rates big time for me. Depending on who is my chosen companion prices go down about 15 to 50 % !

Thanks for the hint about the suites. We didn´t even think about that option... I am going to check what options we have, thanks.

I got an answer from totalrewards:
--------------
In regards to your email, if you are using 6 total rewards cards you must book 3 separate reservation. You are unable to add more then two companions on each hotel reservation.
--------------

Maybe you guys can help me with the suite thing...
Is there a chance that there is a suite on the strip with preferrably 6 queen beds? low budget as well? (meaning not more than 500 $ for the room per night...)
thanks
when I try to search @totalrewards properties they always say 4 guests max per room. So I am guessing 6 beds doesn´t work...

I think you are going to have to call and ask to talk to a casino host or VIP rep or something, I'm guessing their email support only deals with standard rooms but not sure.

I just had this issue come up trying to book in New Orleans (4 rooms, 8 guys, bachelor party) and my host was able to handle the whole thing. Now obviously you may not have a host, but if you have more than 1 Total rewards number, you could always look up the marketing executives/casino hosts for that property and shoot them an email. never hurts to ask.

Is it true that if I book a stay through Total Rewards, that i can't continue to check prices for that weekend and change them if I find a better deal?

I'm looking to book March 16-19, and found a decent price at Linq. It's the cheapest i've seen in over a month of looking. I wouldn't mind locking in the price now, but I want to keep checking for better prices, especially since i'm going to Vegas in 3 weeks, and might get better offers for March once I get some play in.

Anybody?

I think you just can't have overlapping reservations on same card.I know I've done it before years ago, not sure if anything has changed, but I just had to cancel the one and then book the new. I would call and ask them just to be safe.

I have booked and called for a better rate when the prices went down. That's at the same hotel, though. I have also booked at multiple hotels in the same trip.

I have never booked different hotels under the same name for the same nights but I'm guessing a phone call will take care of it if you find a better option.

Yes, I've ridden the shuttle but didn't get out as I was continuing to the Gold Coast. I could see the strip, barely, from where the bus stops at a back entrance .I could have asked the bus driver then but didn't much care then.

Its probably all about nothing but I wondered whether there was a sidewalk or perhaps impediments to get to the strip from that bus stop. LOL Thanx..

I believe you will be dropped very close to the Forum Shops valet where there is fairly quick and easy walking access to the Forum Shops, Caesars Casino, and the strip. I'm not certain there is a sidewalk to the strip from that drop but it is only a few hundred yards away and the worst case scenario is you cut through the Forum Shops to get to the strip.

+1. Never cut through forum shop. Walking on strip is much faster

Looking to get a 30-day bus pass. The website says I need a Nevada ID to get it validated. Anyone know if this is actually enforced?

Well, I know this isn't SE but it is Vegas related, so we could try and guess what club he was at. Tao? Is that still a thing?

Johnny Manziel update:
We all know Vegas stories can get extremely crazy involving celebrities. This is going to sound wild, and maybe hard to believe, but this is what we’re hearing regarding Johnny Manziel.
Our sources tell us Manziel was at a popular night club on the strip Saturday night. The QB entered wearing a blonde wig, a fake mustache, glasses, and a hoodie.
Manziel introduced himself as “Billy.” He was there into the 3am hour and when it came time to pay the bill, he asked to have it comped because he didn’t bring cash and also didn’t want to put it on his card.
However, the sources tell us he ended up paying with his card and signing the check.
By 3am he appeared to be enjoying the party scene that Vegas is known to offer.
The club had Manziel and his crew placed at a VIP table close to the DJ booth. The table is located in one of the darkest areas of the club.
Manziel dined at the club’s restaurant before going to the nightclub. He was seated at the most private area in the restaurant, which is still out in the open. And yes, he ate with his wig and glasses on.

Hakkasan is my guess.

And next time I'm at a restaurant in Vegas, I'm going to ask for my meal to be comped because I didn't bring cash and would prefer to not use my credit card. Will report back with results.

Heading up to Vegas this weekend. What are (roughly) the wait times like for 1/2 and 2/5 NL at the main rooms (Mirage, Bellagio, Aria, PH) on the weekends?

At TSR the longest I've had to wait is probably 30-45 and that was with like 12 people in front of me. Is that typical for Vegas as well?

Mirage isn't a main room any longer.
