I don't think them not being the official LVL sponsor anymore has anything to do with the quality of their coupon book.

Driving to Vegas from the Midwest, going to take me about 28 hours drive time. I've always wanted to do it, don't ask me why.. Just a few questions..

1. Is parking free at all the casinos?

2. Is it true that if you drive yourself to a strip club it's cheaper to get in?

3. I have comped rooms at any mlife casino, which would be best for low limit and no limit poker and cheaper table games or would be most fun for a single guy who is game for all sorts of trouble?

False.
Call free limo/shuttle service strip club (rhino/sapphire) provides which includes free admission. Pick up anywhere you are on the strip.

The free limo gets you free admission (as Run said) while your car doesn't, but you still have to tip the driver and find your own way back. So dollars and cents it will cost you more than your car. Both are better options than taking a cab.

If you're comped anywhere, Aria is #1 and Bellagio is #2. Choosing something like MGM Grand over Aria when both are free- simply because you think one has a "more fun" casino- would make you a dumb. You can play anywhere.

Yeah I'd do aria, good poker there and then Monte Carlo close for table game at lower limits if aria to high

Cabs are better for strip clubs ime

If you ask a can driver what his kickbacks are at the strip club, they make a killing, so you can negotiate

Here's the link to the Guide and its website.

Are there other guides/booklets with offers or promos that one can buy? Is it worth it?
ACG definitely worth it if you're willing to take a few hours downtown to use the free match play and slot play. Making a free C-note with the coupons isn't out of the question.

Anyone know of a room that runs NLO8? (wishful thinking, i know)

Also, need to find a gym open 24/7 with an indoor basketball court within 15 minutes of Aria

Hello folks.

What country bar/club do you recommend?

I've read several comments about Stoney's, but it seems that they do not have a live band playing on a daily basis.

I'd like to go to a place similar to a bar inside the Wild Wild West casino in Atlantic City on Saturday's night, but a bigger place though. I've been there and they have nice bands.

This is gonna be my first time in Vegas. Thanks.

How many days would you recommend a first timer in LV to stay? Is 10 days enough?
I dont want to party a lot, maybe 1-2 nights and play a lot on the casinos

No plan on going to stripclub.

Btw, is the games 1/3 or is it 1/2$? Or does it vary from casino to casino?

Having been to Vegas multiple times, I'd say ten days is a good amount but it depends on what you plan on doing.

My first time was 2 nights/3 days and it wasn't long enough.

Really depends on what your going to do, your saying mostly playing allot in the casinos? so assuming poker.... what is your Bank roll for the trip? Id say 10 days of 80% poker can be a drag if you do not have a decent sized roll and hit a loosing streak. I mean its results oriented but, when I'm winning I feel like the trip should be longer, when Im losing, I could not be happier to be leaving. So id say if you have a decent sized roll that you will allocate per day and stick to it, 10 days can work. nothing worse than going broke with a day or two left in the trip. As for 1/2 vs 1/3 and what the max buy ins are, it depends on the casino.

First time in Vegas was 6nights/7days and I thought it was aalmost enough. 10 days would be perfect imho to explore Vegas for the first time..

I did almost everything I wanted to do as a first timer, 4 more nights would've done the trick to make it happen.

I'm not thinking about playing 80% poker per day. But would like to visit all the casinot and play in the poker rooms. Maybe avg 1-3h/day and then some days where I focus more on poker and maybe like 8h.

I could just spend the days walking around and taking pictures aswell.

Well, right now its not even sure if im going, I have to win a lot and work a lot back home. But I plan on bringing 1500$-2000$ dedicated for gambling. =) I know it's not much but thats what I can loose on a vacation without feeling bad. If I get a full time job/win big on poker until the summer that bankroll will obviously rise. But thats what I think is fair from right now though =)

Thanks for the tips

How long your stay will be enjoyable will be a function of two variables: initial bankroll and the steepness of your loss curve.

My first ever trip was 5 days. I was on a tight budget and it was blown by the morning of day 4. We spent 1.5 days wanting to be anywhere but Vegas. Had we had a 3 day trip it would have been awesome. If we had won big on day 2 it would have been awesome. Had I had more money to spend it would have been awesome.

Vegas is a terrible, terrible, terrible (I can't say this enough) place to be if you are broke.

Loose = to release from restraints.

Whenever someone writes that they can loose $2000, I picture their money as dogs of war they are prepared to unleash on unsuspecting craps tables. GO ye bundles of cash. Let loose my dogs of war upon this felt! (Say in viking accent.)

Take your poker/Gambling bankroll and divide by $300 to get IMHO the maximum number of days you should stay in Las Vegas.
