You guys will be fine to return. All of ya. If there were charges filed, even so much as a possession citation, you would know about it.

Guess I'm just old cause I never saw any kind of swabbing at clubs/raves back in the day. I just assumed dude had some booger sugar in his pocket. Learn something new everyday.

The wheater is soggy with all that milk and sugar, but the weather will be nearly perfect with High about 67° F (19° C) and Low around 43° F (6° C).

Some pools will be open some will not: seehttp://www.travel2vegas.com/poolschedule.html

Yeah man, not getting into a pool when the air temp is 70. Unless I'm out at Red Rocks in the direct sun reflecting off the crags, 70 may as well be 40 imo. (OK, I exaggerate, but...)

in late November we're about 60 F here (if it's windy then it feels much colder) for daytime highs but when the sun sets the temp drops at least 10 degrees instantly. not pool weather at all unless you're from Antarctica.

As a note to all, for winter weather, Las Vegas is certainly warmer than places like Minnesota. However, visitors often think it's balmy like Miami here and is always quite warm year round. It is not. Make sure you bring long pants and a jacket for at least the mornings/evenings if you visit here in winter months and plan to go outside.

The coldest I have even been in my life was camping in January at the now-closed "climbers campground" (aka gravel pit) off of Charleston Blvd. Until the sun hit my tent and warmed it, I couldn't even get up out of my 0 degree sleeping bag to take a leak.

The desert, it's cold at night. Who knew?

He did not ask is the weather fine to be at the pool, but even so yes 60F is just fine by the pool for me. The pools that are open in November are usually heated.

It was coke

Yeah at the airport it was the cotton swab on his clothes (different guy to the guy caught at wet republic)

At Wet Republic at the entry he had his wallet in his hand because his swim shorts didn't have pockets, the security kind of rushed him and said search and grabbed his wallet and he had some coke in there

Every hotel in the history of the world has the ability to store luggage prior to check-in or after check-out.

Translation: Give your bag to the bellhop at the front entrance. He will give you a claim check. When you are ready to claim your bag, give the bell desk your claim check and tip the guy $2 when you receive your bag (or if you check in, call the bell desk to have the bag sent up).

Ask nicely and smile at the front desk, and you might get an early check-in.

All of this surprises me. I thought the swabs were for security. Drug searches have nothing to do with security. The whole premise as to why they are allowed to do warrantless searches is because of security concerns, so I'm actually a bit skeptical that the machines are drug sniffing. Far as I know, they sniff only for explosives or chemicals used in making explosives. I think the ACLU would be all over them if they were forcing passengers to be drug sniffed. The machine probably alerted for some innocuous thing like glycerin in hand lotion and your friend started babbling about drugs.

Further, casino security has no right to search someone without their consent. You make it sound like for no reason at all they pounced on the guy, and went through his wallet. No, I'm 99.999% sure that did not happen. I'm just confused as to what really happened.

Regardless, returning to the US is not likely to be an issue.

Yeah weird if true. TSA swabs are for nitrate residues (on the hands usu), for explosives. It's pooooosible that mdma could leave residual nitrate residue (but unlikely), and glycerin in hand sanitizer has caused false positives, but swabbing for drugs?

Considering this link references the Aladdin pool I don't think I'd take too much stock in the schedule.

Cliffs: The guy at the airport was obviously intoxicated, so they told him a BS story about a positive ETD as a pretext for searching his bag. The guy at the nightclub was obviously intoxicated on cocaine, so they searched his wallet.

I just found out today that I'll be working security for the WSOP final table on Monday and Tuesday.* The problem is that I won't get off work at my real job until 5:00, and I'm supposed to be at the Rio by 6:00, and I've got to squeeze a meal and a changing of clothes in there.

Anyway, my question is this: How bad is traffic on Flamingo from 215 to the Rio on Mondays and Tuesdays at rush hour? And does the November Nine make it significantly worse?

*About which I am TOTALLY ****ING STOKED WHOOOOO!!
