If I buy in for (ex.) Event 46 and 47, which start on consecutive days, and I make day 2 of Event 46 (so I am unable to play 47), can I get a refund easily? Or should I wait to see if I make day 2 in Event 46 before buying into 47?
Do they have an upper limit to the number of entrants for some events?
I got some answers from someone who's already playing in the WSOP, so I'll answer my own questions, in case someone is wondering about the same things.
- It's possible to register up until two hours AFTER the tournament has started
- Tournament registration is opened 24/7 and located in the Rio Convention Center, not the Rio itself
- you can simply sell back any ticket for any tournament at the registration if you're unable to play because you're going deep in a previous event
- there's a cap on the number of entrants, but you can still buy in and get on the alternate list, except for shoutout and headsup tournaments.
- You need a Harrah's Total Rewards card before you can register
- Bring ID when you're playing the tournament, you'll need to show it to the dealer
If any of this is inaccurate (probably unlikely), please let me know.
