ESPN sports zone at NYNY was good - some huge burgers too.

Also Lagasse's at the Palazzo had a giant screen that was showing Champions League when I went.

There will be 5/10 at Rio, Venetian, Bellagio and Wynn. Venetian is typically where most of the on-strip action is. 10/20 will always be at Bellagio, probably at Rio, probably at Venetian, maybe at Wynn.

I found a decent deal on a package that includes 3 nights at Vdara.

Anybody stayed at the Vdara before? Is there any real difference between Vdara and Aria?

You can get it validated at the cage, maybe not during working hours though.

Do the resorts/casinos do anything special for your birthday? I'm going to celebrate my 40th and will be staying at the Wynn/Encore. Should I mention it when I'm checking in?

Hey all,

I'm staying at Sky this summer and I want to run every morning. I do not like running on treadmills. At all.

Where should I go? Keep in mind this is north end of the strip.

My first thought was just to get up early enough and run down LV blvd since the only people out will be pushing strollers. Still, that idea isn't too attractive.

Any indoor/outdoor tracks? Close trails?

Thanks.

The first thing that comes to mind is the indoor gym at UNLV. Opens at 6am I believe and it has a track inside. However, access to the gym costs $10 / day or like $100 a month.

There's also Las Vegas Athletic Club on Lake Mead, but that's kind of far from the Strip.

And any high school nearby will have an outdoor track although I'm not sure how freely/frequently you can use those.

No, I'm 99% sure casinos don't do anything special for your birthday.

Crown and Anchour. It's off the strip, but won't cost much in a taxi.

Aria has a casino and all the other standard big-hotel restaurants/shops/amenities, Vdara does not. Don't know whether the former or the latter is what's important to you. Vdara rooms have kitchenettes, Aria does not. Vdara is quiet, Aria is not. You can walk from Vdara to Aria in a lickety-split, and Vdara is a bit closer to Bellagio if that matters.

Thank you. Definitely something my lady companion should enjoy. Big-hotel amenities aren't a concern, I just wanted to get someones perspective since there isn't too much out there on the place.

I'm taking a trip to Vegas with the girlfriend in July. I've stayed at the Venetian before and thought it was amazing but might want to try something new with ARIA. Can anyone tell me about their stay in ARIA to help me decide.

Lagasse Stadium is pretty good. Was there this weekend and they were generous with free drink tickets, and the waitresses are cute. I'm a sucker for girls in tennis skirts and tight jerseys.

Any thoughts on MGM Grand's Prima program? I have comped 3 nights at MGM Grand, saw the PRIMA, figured I was going to spend 500ish on food and drinks and shows etc anyways and decided a Limo trip to the airport, possible room upgrade to suite, and free spa entry would make it worth it. Do they actually uphold their end of a room upgrade? I don't want a $50 activity card. Also does this work for comped rooms?

I and several others have thought ahead and shared our thoughts on Aria right here in this very forum.
