Just so you know, "dealer hits soft 17" is usually abbreviated "H17" while "dealer stands on soft 17" is usually abbreviated "S17".
Cheers - much appreciate!!

Oh one more question, can I use an ATM in the US with my neteller card? Or will it be blocked (much like trying to access a euro poker site in the US)?

$15-20, tell him no tunnel, and he should be taking Trop to Koval or Paradise to Flamingo to Koval. Correct, no strip.

They do have internet but it's the typical 10-12 bucks a day.

Don't miss the $2 Heinekens or the hot dog cart in the sports book.

If you want to go down around TI, Venetian, or Wynn, take the back way down Valley Fair (I think) to Spring Mountain and avoid the Strip except maybe for a block at most.

Flying into Vegas tomorrow for the first time. Is a cab the cheapest/best way for three of us to get to the Venetian?

Shuttles are cheaper and while I personally have no problem with them they can take longer to get you to your hotel. So that is the trade off. But, if the question is cheapest, get on one of the shuttles they are usually only $8 or maybe even less to get to a strip hotel and there is even a round trip pass you can get that is maybe around $14. You just call them to arrange pickup the day before you leave. Again, trade off is convenience and speed but really I have never taken one that has saved a HUGE amount of time. Other will disagree with this but such is life.

IMO, 3 people splitting a cab fare + tip to V is prob cheaper than 3 people paying for the shuttle. Even if it is more for the cab, it won't be by much and will be much faster/easier. Take the cab imo.

Without a doubt. Shuttle for 3 will be as much or more than the cab ride, and the shuttle will take years off of your life.

Let me see if I have this straight. Chinese food- which along with pizza is the one food that is delivered by just about any restaurant that sells it- is available everywhere all over town from any number of places but you choose to order from PF Changs? Do you like paying twice as much for half the quality?

PF changs is nothing like the mandarin or schezwan stuff you're going to get from a delivery chinese place. whether it's better or worse is in the palate of the beholder. but the whole "it's not real chinese food" argument is tired. it seems there's no way for pf changs to be mentioned in a conversation these days without someone playing that pseudo-elitist card. i don't care if it's authentic, i care if it tastes good.

i'm in no way challenging your assertion that there are good delivery places, i really want to know, what's the best place that delivers chinese to the strip?

I don't know who delivers anything on the strip, but Augie doesn't live on the strip so far as I know.

FTR- I acknowledge that PF Changs is Chinese food, at least in the way that Americans know Chinese food. I also don't think it sucks, I just think it's very ordinary, which is kind of the point of it and their whole business model, like any other big chain restaurant.

Sorry, I missed the three people part. Ya, cab is cheaper for three and actually still a better deal for two people when you figure in time. I was thinking of just one person.

I will be in Vegas from 5/28/10 until 6/5/10. I intend to play solely poker and I got a great rate at the Rio where I'll be staying. Aside from the WSOP and the Venetian Deep Stacks, are there other good tournaments going on that I should know about during this time span? Anything else going on in Vegas at this time that I should know about and check out? Also, what is the best strip club in Vegas...is it still the Rhino? Don't know if I'll go yet to the strip club but I might.

Rhino has hottest girls. Sapphire's is the biggest (in the world), and has plenty of hot girls as well. Also some of the Rhino's girls are stuck up and will say things like "I don't do $20 dances, I'm the best come to the VIP with me."

At Sapphires I can get you free limo + free entry, and maybe even a free drink!

Hey, when doing the 20 dollar trick at flamingo and ballys, what room should I ask for as an upgrade? I'm staying in the most basic rooms there.
