If it is Enterprise, it looks like the McCaran location is open 24/7. I determined this by going to the website for that location and looking at what times you can pick up or drop off. There are no times indicating it would be after hours.

I suppose you could do the same research for the other car companies there.

As a comparison, I went to the Enterprise website for the airport location in my city and there are hours listed as after hours.

pretty sure the McCarren car rental return is 24 hours. It's a pretty big place in a 24 hour city

1. Never return any rented thing without taking lots of geotagged photos.

Best guess after hours at McCarran, the return lane will be open and the shuttle bus will be running, but good luck finding an employee, I would take photos and leave, see #1

and also take photos of the fuel level if you didn't pay for the auto top off fee when you got it.

If my main concern with a hotel room would be having a large tub or a spa in the room/bathroom, what would be my best options at a budget? We've previously stayed at the Masquerade suites at Rio but seems like the prices for that room have raised tremendously since our last visit. I'm assuming none of the regular rooms in any of the hotels have this?

A budget is very much relative, but I will give you an example of a minimally comped room at Planet Hollywood where I gave the check in person $20 for an upgrade and got this room for 3 nights.

I don't want to say that this is normal, but it's possible. It will most likely depend on when you're going. These pics were October 2019. Being as I didn't reserve the is room I don't know the tower/type, but it should be easy to find out.

Upgraded rooms at many hotels have a large spa/tub. Just ask when you reserve.

You should tell us what your budget is and when you think you are going.

Bally's executive suites have a tub in the room, but the resort tower is $299 a night for a stay in early September if you aren't a Caesars rewards member. Resort fees and tax not included.

To be fair, Tardi did say a tub in the room/bathroom, so I assumed either a view or tub in the room were prioritized.

To draw a comparison, the tub in a Cosmo wraparound terrace is very nice, but I assume a tub in a one bedroom terrace room is most likely preferred in Tardi's scenario because of the view and rate. I could be totally wrong, but that was my assessment of the situation.

The Rio reference led me to a CET property, which is why I suggested PH.

EDIT: if a "large" tub is the priority, then I will defer to others.

1BR at MGM Signature have a pretty nice whirlpool tub in the master bathroom. No view though and not sure if that fits your budget.

Tropicana has a nice 1BR suite with a hot tub in the bedroom, but I forget what the view was like and I don't remember the cost.

The view is irrelevant, just want a large bath or a "spa" where I can relax after a day. As I'm a larger fellow the "bathtubs" that are usually combined with the showers do not really work for this purpose like they would for a smaller person .

It's quite annoying that the hotels don't really provide good photos where these amenities can be seen, or if there's one in the photo it's not included in the room description and vice versa.

Budget is flexible, but as I do like value I'm trying to find out the best value propositions for such a room, probably visiting in April through July, depending on how the pandemic develops.

Good chance you find something if you google for *hotel name* *room type* tub/whirlpool/jacuzzi and then select images.

I agree that the tub/shower combination things usually aren't very spacious or comfortable. Even if you're <150lbs. But I would expect that everything standalone has a decent amount of space, especially if it's labeled "spa" or something along the lines.

If you are going to be in town that long I'd be looking at AirBnB or VRBO for a house, condo or apartment.

We are actually looking to stay a week or so at the Palm's Place through airbnb, but wife wants to also stay at a hotel for another week or so. As said, usually we'd just go with the Rio and aim for the masquerade suite but as it seems they are pumping the prices up a bit and might also even be closed for renovations(?), better to have some options.

I am about six feet tall and was over two hundred and twenty pounds when we stayed in the suite at Tropicana. The wife and I took a bath together with no problem.

You should be aware the suite is noisy from their beach club and being on the top floor.

And it is pricey.

MGM Spa Suite. Large spa tub; my fav is ground floor right off the casino, no elevator ride.

Why put strippers in quotes? If you didn't want people to know they were hookers, you could have referred to them as women.

Getting back to the matter of what hotels have big tubs, we really need to know the budget in dollar amounts.

If the budget is $150 a night, it is pointless to suggest a room that is quite a bit over that.

According to the thread, I should be ok with getting Mandalay Bay at a discounted rate through MyVegas and asking for some kind of upgrade via matched Gold level on checkout. Budget being around $100/night this should go well below that.

Booked a room online at Gold Coast, Las Vegas. I'm in America. Paying in dollars, with an American credit card. Just a normal hotel reservation.

On the booking page it says
198.25 room charges
26.52 occupancy tax
224.77 grand total.

On the payment page it says
198.25 room charges
26.52 occupancy tax
224.77 grand total
254.25 grand total in hotel's local currency!

I know neither of these includes the $35.14/night resort fee. But what the hell, grand total in hotel's local currency?!
