Are you asking about Wynn? Actually they don’t. You won’t get those services, including their Wi-Fi, but you won’t pay a cent.

First Thursday and Friday at Blondies always sells out pretty early. There's still some seats available for Saturday and Sunday.

FWIW, there's usually a lot of people the first two days that buy a table that seats more than they have, and they will make you a deal to pay for the empty seats. The last two years we've done this...if you're interested just hang out at the hostess stand.

So we promised our kids a few years ago that we'd take them to Vegas with us after they turn 21. One of them is up this year. I want to do something special for her (primarily because I intend to ditch them and play poker 24/7 (this plan has been endorsed by the wife)).

I was thinking of hiring a limo, complete with driver meeting us with a sign at baggage claim, followed by a cruise of the strip with champagne and a stop at the welcome to las Vegas sign. (And maybe a stop at a liquor store and/or a dispensary before taking us to our hotel.)

I know it's a total cliché to do that, but it seems like something a 21yo Vegas virgin would appreciate and I want it to be memorable. Suggestions to improve my idea? Preferred limo company? (Or what to do if you say scrap it?)

Trip to a strip club and/or legal brothel obv.

Blue Man Group makes for a fun Vegas experience if you insist on family friendly.

Nah, we're not a family friendly family. We'd prefer our kids know the real world.

Family friendly or not, I'm still not taking my stepdaughter to a strip club/brothel. Her mom can do that if she wants.

I'm only concerned with a "welcome to Vegas" experience. The rest of the tourist **** is her mom's concern.

Then you might better take them to a nice vacation in East St. Louis.

The limo idea doesn’t sound bad but will only work if you arrive there at night. If they want to Insta the LV sign by day, you could split trips and let the rest of the family do that while you play.

You could also see if they are interested in a show or something along those lines.

I just returned from Vegas and had to report something insane I saw. A guy approached two of those hot girls in bikinis and **** that you’re supposed to pay to take pictures with and straight up removed his own pants. Like I saw this dudes ass hole. It was bad. I could tell the girls were horrified as they walked away. I walked up to them and asked them if I had seen the situation correctly and they said I had. Some dudes are real ****ing creeps

How is Brooklyn Bowl at Linq as a venue for concerts? Considering seeing a show there.

I saw the Breeders there a few months ago. I wasn't impressed by the place. It's just a big empty place like high school gym size, with large speakers hanging from the very high ceiling near the stage. There were a few raised areas with tables and chairs on the outskirts which I think you have to reserve and pay extra to use. The show was fine but it was far from packed which made it felt a bit empty. I think it's too large a venue for most of the acts they book. I would like to see Colin Hay, who is playing there in May, but he is probably playing solo acoustic which seems like it would be really bad in that type of place. Behind the tables and chairs there are bowling alleys, and there were actually people bowling during the show; you could hear the bowling noise a little between songs. I imagine this would be really annoying for an acoustic show.

I absolutely love Brooklyn Bowl and seeing shows there. I saw the Violent Femmes there and it was acoustic and fantastic, but I had a hookup and we were above the stage which was very cool. It was also packed. I’ve seen Phantogram there twice and both times they were amazing. I mean if it’s empty, it probably won’t be as great, but I personally love the venue, the location, and have had only good experiences there.

There’s German Bread Bakery that is pretty solid imo. Not as good as the really good ones in Germany and twice as expensive but that’s the way it is if you want to get decent bread in the US.

Lulu’s has sandwiches on pretty good bread that you can choose from their selection. They also sell them by the loaf but I haven’t done that because I felt >$7 for something that looks like 1-1.5 pounds is a rip-off.

Yes, there’s Uber at LAS. I think there’s a pickup spot in every terminal, not too far away from the taxi line.

I use it and Lyft frequently from level 2M of the terminal 1 parking garage. It takes about 6 to 7 minutes for them to arrive from the staging area at UNLV.

Haven't had any problems. Haven't tried from terminal 3 yet as i am usually on Southwest.

I never take Uber from the airport, but I frequently take it TO the airport from the Strip. I guess if the taxi line was incredibly long I would consider it, but it moves quickly. I haven't had to wait more than 5 min, and sometimes I walk right into a cab, instead of waiting for the Uber.

There's a bunch of Uber cars waiting for passengers, and a bunch of passengers waiting for their car to arrive. What if Uber just put a line of Uber cars and you could walk right into the first one? It would be just like a taxi line! I guess my point is the airport/taxis solved this problem already.

uber is good from both terminals at McCarran. uber picks up in the parking garage from both terminals. You will need to cross over to the parking garage and then go to the appropriate level. Level 2M from terminal one and the bottom level, valet, from terminal three.

If the parking garage you were in looked abandoned, you were in the wrong place. Uber/Lyft pickup is a pretty crowded spot.

You can request your Uber while walking to the pick-up area and just hop in when you get there. I’ve never had trouble finding the right car based on the car/driver information on the app.

But thanks to Uber/Lyft, if you decide to take a taxi the wait is usually pretty short these days. That’s a huge improvement to the taxi-only days where you often had to wait 10+ minutes.
