I did Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Sedona on a 3 day road trip from Vegas to Phoenix before.

If you wanted to do Vegas to Vegas I'd cut Sedona personally, all the others were far more impressive, could probably add in the North Rim as well if you wanted.

Awesome, thanks! This is a trip through a travel company in Vegas, so there is no option to cancel. They provide everything, hotel/transportation/food/guides/entries.

Looking at a trip, Why are the prices of Venetian and palazzo come down so much now? Something wrong with these places?

if you are looking in Dec, that is usually Vegas' cheapest month.

Oh was looking at February or April but both months had them at like 400-500 off so was kind of surprised.

Grab it. Factor in the (bull****) resort fees though.

Thanks. Yes I tell the person I am going with that it's just the base price and there is still the crazy resort fees but thought wow that's a good price and I liked that end of the strip last time I was in Vegas.

Is Venetian 2/5 generally softer Than aria 2/5?
LVL FAQ, Quick Questions, General Vegas Discussion, Etc Quote

I'd say Aria is softer since Venetian attracts a lot of promo nits.

Seems unlikely that the promo nits would be playing 2/5.

I really want nothing to do with the bigger clubs as I absolutely hate waiting in line to get in to a place and hate waiting to get drinks (and don't really love dance/hip hop music but don't mind it in the right atmosphere). The younger crowd is kind of in the same boat as me, but the older women want the typical Vegas club experience.

Is there any place that will be able to hit the following:

1. Club like atmosphere
2. No Cover (cover is okay if all other criteria is hit)
3. Reasonable drink prices (for Vegas, I am from NYC so i don't mind paying $10 for a mixed drink)
4. No line to get in and getting drinks at the bar won't be a mission
Unfortunately what you’re looking for doesn’t exist, at least not at any club that the ladies or you would want to go to. Any decent place will have a line, cover, and you’ll pay $12 or so for a Bud Light. As someone else said buying a couple bottles and getting table service is the best way to do things. But for a group your size it would be at least a couple thousand bucks, and maybe more depending on where you go.

Good place for a men's haircut in Las Vegas? I like it cut short and easy to manage, so I don't need anything elaborate.

FINO is good, relatively pricey.

Thanks man! They look super-fancy, maybe close to a hundo for price. I'm looking for $30 or under.

I go to Fino about once every 6-8 weeks for my cut and beard trim. With tip it comes to like $70. Without the beard you can probably get closer to $50.

Thanks again. $50 is probably do-able for a good cut.

Masterpiece Barber College _ used to be $10 and every cut is supervised by a faculty member

Gerardo's in Chinatown is a pretty good barber shop, & there are a couple on Ft. Apache (Vick's & the new place almost right next to it whose name I forgot).

All are fine. Iirc Gerardo's is $18, Vick's is $22 & the other one is $25.

Haven't got my haircut at like a salon since moving here 7 years ago, so couldn't help with that.

Interesting. I like the supervision factor, but I'd still be anxious (rightfully or wrongfully) about the potential variance.

Finally see room comps, even at Caesars. Wow!

Which towers have been recently renovated ( Augustus and Palace )? Do any have mini fridge in them?

Thanks!

Outside of the obvious hotel deals - are there any other Las Vegas deals that we should keep our eye out for this upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday?

Also: from year's past are the hotel deals on Cyber Monday considerably better then other times of the year?

Just checked, I also now have comp for the week I am going in Dec at Caesars. Good question on the rooms, I heard there could be a long walk from one of the towers to anywhere? Not that it should be much further than Bally's, I think I was almost over Ellis Island once.

Caesars most recently renovated the Julius (formerly Roman) tower; prior to that they converted the Centurion into the Nobu Hotel. Augustus and Octavius are essentially the same (and are the biggest/nicest general room they offer), except that Octavius was mothballed for awhile so it opened later than Augustus. Those two, along with Palace, would be the longest walk to places you want.
