So my best hope is just to airbnb a place like 10-15minutes outside of the strip and taxi/uber each way?

Has anyone received any Wynn/Encore marketing promos for the summer yet? Not sure if drama there has delayed their promos or the fact that MGM jumping the gun by doing promos up through mid August already.

Aria has a summer promo on their poker rate.

This is what I got from their Poker Room Host:

Quote:
SUMMER RATES: May 25- August 31 are $129 + $39 resort fee + tax Sunday through Thursday ($190.48) and $159 + $39 resort fee + tax Friday and Saturday ($224.49) .
The fine print:

Poker rates are offered for ARIA Standard Deluxe Rooms with your request of king bed or 2 queens. (Based on availability at check in, not guaranteed.)

Cancellation Policy is 72 hours prior to the arrival date

Standard poker room rate is $139/$189 IIRC?

Doesn’t make a huge difference on weekdays, but saving $30/night on the weekend is nice especially on those busy ones where you can’t get a decent room for under $200 on the Strip.

Does anyone know if they stop offering the poker room rate when occupancy reaches a certain level?

Yes, that's correct. Bigger discount on the weekend rate. Definitely puts ARIA as the better poker rate deal on the strip. Venetian used to have a pretty good rate (relative to their standard room rates) but they recently updated it to effectively become much more expensive.

Most know about Sam's Town free shuttles to and from the Strip and Downtown.

I just noticed that they have a new shuttle that leaves downtown at 8:30 pm at night that goes directly to Harrah's.

Would anyone be able to ride that shuttle, or would they have to be staying at Sam's Town to ride it?

you're already staying at Sam's Town, you don't get to complain about the dregs of humanity

Not staying at Sam's Town..the question is can one take that direct downtown to the Strip shuttle if they AREN'T staying at Sam's Town.

Sam's Town isn't so bad..a locals place, no worse than The Orleans or any Stations casino..

Yes. You can just walk up the stairs to get from the restaurant to the club.

I would recommend going to a good steakhouse, though.

Voodoo was a dining experience I don't regret. Def not a top tier steakhouse, but ime the better the view, the worse the food anywhere in the world. Voodoo wasnt bad at all, just not top tier

I still think its worth to go up there, eat or dont its just worth it 1 time

Booked a stay at the Palazzo under my name and got a couple comped nights. My parents will be coming to Vegas as well and I was planning to pay for their room as a retirement present. Would booking a second room on the same days under my name, but not using my Grazie account (just regular website purchase) cause any issues?
