The last 2 months I've been offered an Uber Ride Pass. You pay $10 for the pass and it is good for 28 days. All UberPool rides in the allocated LV area are then $3.99 and all UberX rides are $5.99. There is an added cost above the $4 and $6 if the normal UberPool ride is over $20 or the UberX ride is over $25. I live in Summerlin and it normally costs about $12-15 for an UberPool ride to the strip so it easily falls under the $20 max. The ride passes are the only discounts I've been offered the last 2 years from Uber.

For the last 2-3 months I've been offered $5 off my next 10 Lyft rides. The offer is good for 2 weeks. I've received the same offer about every 3 weeks. This may be due to the fact that I've never used Lyft before though.

First kinda 'huh' experience - guy refused my $5 tip driving me from Bally's to QQQQ. I guess he assumed anyone going to QQQQ probably needs the money more than he does.

Ride from QQQQ to airport was weird. Guy picks me up in this newer Tahoe, which I can't imagine how driving me to the airport offsets the depreciation + gas on this thing. As we're on the highway we pass this tow truck from some random company. The driver of my Uber whips out his phone and goes 'I think this guy stole my boat'! Like how tf would you know it was him from the back of a general-looking tow truck.

So we drive up next to this guy, my driver is leaning over all the way into the passenger seat taking a video of the tow truck driver with his phone and then starts texting some friends the video and telling me how much **** the tow truck driver is about to be in.

Still better than a taxi imo

We got a lyft to top golf from whatever hotel we were at - half cut already obviously - and he was playing some hardcore gangsta rap. It's 4 white guys and him - a younger Middle Eastern guy. All he did is make racist jokes the entire trip there and yell at people out his "cab" window. It was so surreal (and hilarious). Lyft#1!
