Played a great 1-2 game w/NCJ last night, was basically make hands print $, think NCJ +$1500, I peaked +$520 but ran terrible and played less than ideal last 45 min or so and left +$152. Oh well...gotta turn the downswing around so not losing is nice, looking to make some $ at the tables tomorrow night.

After the disappointing run last week I'll be implementing some small changes to both routine and gameplay to try and get back on track strong this week. Also have been having the MTT itch again so may drop in on the Orleans Fri weekly. I also need to play a minimum of 6 hours of 2-5 this week after slacking on that objective.

In other news...anyone want to see a picture of the biggest/craziest fake ass I've ever seen? Lol

I agree Pig4Bill, gonna be abstaining from 2-5 till I crack this downswing.

The struggle is real and the downswing still in full effect. NCJ playing splashy stacked me w/66 raising pre then I chk/raise QK on a KK6 2 clubs flop (had my reasons). Hardly mind dumping $ to him though, that was just the tip of the iceberg as he can attest...tried a random stab at some hot club rats leaving Hakisan and got snap shutdown, then needled/Hollywood a guy into a $1000 pot with AA to < 33 ($99 pre lol). Just trying to keep positive, make good decisions, and not let other factors compound the run bad to make it any worse.

We'll, even after all my complaining, the numbers would indicate this hasn't been as bad a downswing as it seemed (yet!). Still have work to do to turn the corner though so high hopes for this weekend...tbo I've caught myself making some fundamentally just bad/stupid errors at table last few sessions complicating the runbad, time to find the zone and crush. Will update with a lot after this weekend.

For sure; will be adjusting back volume as much as necessarily to accommodate mtts as main priority over WSOP. For now though the grind hours should be an advantage for me come the long multiway events I see some people get tired and implode in.

Can you give me a rundown of how nice of a hotel GVR is?

Girlfriend and I are gonna be out there looking at places to live and the Green Valley/Silverado Ranch area has been at the top of our list. Want to get some poker playing in as well.
