Did meet Sam Barnhart and K.O. him in 2 events which was unfortunate since he was very amicable guy and one of the few players who seemed to want to carry on pleasant conversation. (I'm a table talker)

*My one beef with the Alan guy was he pretty much insulted my intelligence when I heroed a bad bluff line he took with K high and at showdown he honestly try to act out this scenario of he misread his cards...just own it man.

Hey, do you live all year round in vegas?

Been lurking this thread for a while, very enjoyable, particularly enjoy the photos. How do you upload the photos so that when I click on it through my iPhone app it take me straight to the photo instead of opening a link on my browser?

Peace ✌️

Enjoyable read, but OP....you gotta be the biggest bankroll nit in the history of poker. Move-up mangggggggg and stop selling action in <$500 birds.

lol I agree and am really trying to work on that, a ways back itt is my plan I'll outline again later for transitioning to all 2-5 by summer +I'm def taking a lot more mtt action on.

So the big mtt package is over with and I can get back to posting in here more regularly. I ran epically bad, could write a short book about the unusually bad spots/suckouts/lost flips but I'll spare you the details. The near win (2nd) vs Barry Shulman bailed me out @roughly $9350 before tipping, was in the series for $7300. The large number of events coupled with playing 60-70% of my usual cash game volume is what kept me so dam busy.

I ran/played decent in the cash games, though admittedly some days my brain was so in mtt mode I was overthinking and FPS'n pretty bad @1-2/1-3.

I ate a ridiculous amount of table service at Venetian and Noodle Asia so am pretty burnt out on those for awhile.

Anyways, I met some really cool people and I feel like I gained some good mtt experience I can capitalize on moving forth. So now (March) the 2-5 transition plan kicks in so I'm looking forward to that. I'll also be playing some respectable live mtt volume though I lightened it from last schedule to optimize things a bit better. (here is new package and schedule if anyone is interested: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/18...mains-1514060/ )

I'll just toss up some pics from the series and from some cash sessions over that period. Unfortunately my old phone is totally broke now so I can't post a nice chip pron pic of a crazy late night session at PHo ($1600+ stack in 1-2 game in for $300) So on with the pics for now; Unfortunately I'm missing a lot of my pics over the last month or so bc of old phone finally completely breaking so this is mostly only more recent stuff.

tournament stuff

Venetian table ferd...the Thai fried chicken and some lemon chicken thing, both excellent

Noodle Asia spicy beef noodle soup

a little cash game action, like I said only have more recent pics and I've been hitting MGM a lot this last week/week and a half for freeroll promo and just convenience

went ahead and started the 2-5 plan this week (first time all month), put in a good 2-5 session at MGM...table was 'ok' but not too great and I didn't know they had changed to a $500 cap which I dislike but I ran decent and a high % of my bluff lines were getting through

By the way do you know Sunny? Met him in the VDS events seemed like a cool fellow. Guy in the MGM 2-5 I was talking to disliked him on the grounds that he felt he ran too good haha.

Thx yeah was good to squeak one out but I'm optimistic of another 10k$ score or 2 before summer. Lost a decent amount in a great 2-5 game last night. Some 2-5 reg chick got a big pot on me then proceeded to talk sht...such bad etiquette.

I wanted to post this hand from a recent 2-5 session. It was at the Bellagio and the game was super juicey. This reg chick sat in and had bet folded and been pushed off some pots. I was sitting on $750 or so, she had $450 or so (it's a 500 cap game).

She opens in EP for $20, I flat in LP with Ac5d (really just playing position hoping to bump her off hand, pretty unnecessary/bad hand to flat with) button also calls. Flop 3cQcJd...she leads out $50 and I decide I can flat and rep flsh (im holding Ac so block any AXc combos she can have) AND str draws, I think she has an overpair or TPTK. button folds. Turn is a perfect Kc...she leads $50 again leaving her $330 or so behind, I don't like my sizing on my raise here b/c I would likely raise less if I hit BUT the thinking at the time was to make it clearly committing for her and this turn just smacks my perceived range so hard so I make it $265...she shoves (Faaaaaaaak!) unfortunately it's less than $100 more to me so I call and don't improve, she shows pp33 for bottom set. I didn't show my hand. In a great example of poor etiquette she proceeds to lecture me for 10 minutes after about how horrible I played if I couldn't beat her hand in that spot...lol wtf is she felt that way then what did she think she could beat with bottom set on that board/turn? I honestly think she called (came back over) more because she was getting knocked around a little and had had to top off twice already so may have been steaming a little...I regretted the line simply because it was unnecessary in this game bc there were some really soft action spots but when I decided to play position on her pre then float flop this turn was just too perfect and she essentially only beat total air there (I really doubt a turned 2 pair would ever put in raise with that texture)

*in retrospect I would have preferred to make it $135 or so on turn the fold to a raise, if she flat then checked river as I suspect she would I would shove river, perhaps same result but I think it reads better.

Fold pre unless you are suited, you are a reg and should play accordingly, it feels like you just wanted to outplay her badly somehow but that cant be a reason to flat a5o in a fr game, also calling turn and jamming river over her bet is the way to go with your exact holding.

Thx I agree...was worst line I've played in awhile...still think it folds out most her range though, I think she got stubborn on it.
