Nice run cheese! Couple of my buds actually FTd and they are both sickos (as players and as MTT coaches) and even they mentioned how stacked and strong the field was! One finished 10th and the other started today 5/9 so even though your tough bust out hurts, take some comfort to know you did well in a strong field!

My thoughts exactly. To be honest this field was stacked thick with top name tournament pros and all were easily manageable with the exception of Joesph Cheong and a lesser known guy I run into a lot out here Rex Clinkscales who are both admittedly very sick puppies...part of that was them having direct position on me and the other part with Joe anyhow was his utter disregard for money and equity (he was in for four bullets) which gives him advantages/freedoms that are hard to counter.

Took the day off, I've really been slacking on diet and gym lately which probably led to that bout of sickness a few weeks back which just piled on. Anyways where I am going with that is I've felt sort of 'off' and if it hasn't yet I expect it will start affecting my game soon so the big thing for the rest of this month is to eat clean, workout, and get solid A game volume in the cash games. I'll post update on Wednesday with the storyline from HPT main and some other stuff from that week.

Almost forgot, maybe midway through Day 1 I bump into Scott Davies who I haven't seen in years since he moved away from LV and briefly catch up + I steal a small sliver of his soul via handshake...come back to table and rungood; Coincidence? I think not.

Five50 is better pizza than 'Secret'. Still, worth a try if you haven't yet. The crust just isn't nearly as good. I played a short 2/5 session at Aria today and it was super fishy and passive. Lots of tourists for some weird reason. Is it a good time to travel? Seems like the type of game you could crush. Games do sometimes get tougher in the evening, but the Middle Eastern tourists were making some soft spots.

Met up with Whey last night for some 1/2 fun at Bally's. Looking to hit up some 2/5 in the next half hour. Bacon, have you any suggestions for a soft room?

It's possible the extra tourists at Aria were a side effect of the grand opening of a new lounge.

Yes I'm playing the 1pm. Best tourney in the city. 2/5 new table was just starting as I came in. Don't know if that was the first game of the day.

run-bad in effect last night. cooler @ballys when I !3 A9s in position and original raiser flats ppJJ 9J9 rainbow flop. went elsewhere and c-bet strong with a K on a K high 3 heart board...turn bricks, pot is $80, you know I'm frustrated because when I put fish all in for $90 more I actually take the time to educate him on how he only has one card left to go and I have bet more than the pot putting him all in so he should always be folding the A of hearts here and that he has no further implied value in hitting since he will be all in...he drools on himself for a bit before calling off with a J of hearts and binking heart on the river. good times. so yeah I had hoped to transition back to cash a bit more seamless coming off the nasty K.O. in HPT but guess not; down a few hundo at each place. gonna take a few days off and just slam gym +clear my head, wasn't really over the Sindelar hand and tonight kinda compounded it. dinner @mundo w/gobbo and co. then will maybe try to get an update on here.
