So I had these big elaborate plans last night was going to play my way through 1-2 from Excal to Luxor to MGM then onto 2-5 @Aria...instead got myself stuck in the Excal game for 5 hours and 15 minutes. Ran horrendous losing AA<24 after going $22 pre, and then AA<44 $22 pre, then AK<44 on 4-K-5 rainbow $17 pre and last but not least 99<2c10c on 2h-9c-4s flop when he called double 2/3 pot bets on flop and turn with bottom pair backed into the flush lol. Somehow...guess from playing so many hours...managed to end up +$45. Few funny things happened and a few pics I'll lump in with an update on Monday.
In the meantime...I think I made a threat of finding a big busty girl in costume!?

fun dinner and good conversation (poker and otherwise) w/mr&mrs gmoney317 tonight, Yama was solid though didn't bump Kaya off my top of AYCE list, service was quite good and didn't get yelled at for busting a Sake pitcher on the floor ; will likely do Kabuto later this month to see if that takes it. gf was tired so skipped planned V session and will likely miss tonight then put in some time at V tomorrow night.

Update time. I'm going to keep the text brief(ish) seeing as I've had little mini updates throughout the week. Been a fuzzy week or 2 so I'll also try to keep the dates and details straight but might mix up a day or something if I don't check against records. Someone said I needed more chip pron so tried to oblige though my sessions this month (October) I have kept uncharacteristically short for the most part so the wins were pretty conservative. Ran pretty good over Oct averaging just over $60/hr between 1-2 and 2-5 BUT was a super low month as in less than 50 hours.
So much of the time consisted of this crappy congestive thing I had, was some sort of viral bronchitis that led into a bacterial thing...sucked and so have a big gap up till end of last weekend. Got put on some strong asz antibiotics to nuke it.
Playoff beard (no shave till good mtt cash) is going strong, starting to look homeless which is translating to some interesting table image advantages. They think I need the money to eat haha so anyways they are letting me get away with some over-bet dry bluffs that would typically get called lighter when I'm all clean cut.
Finally was able to get out last Sunday I think it was for a short hour session at Excal. In for $250 out for $430 +$180
The smoke did a number on my fked up lungs though which put me out again untill Thurs. Short 1 hour session at GVR for a whopping +$31 profit in for $300 out for $331, can't really justify the chip pic even so I'll just take this opportunity to showcase these stunning pastel pink, green, and blue argyle shorts. Went to the O after for my 3rd and final 2-5 session (all small wins) in October for +$165 90mins, no pic, still play little enough 2-5 that I get 'nervous' haha
Fri night (Halloween) was the super frustrating night I mentioned earlier where I got stuck in the Excal playing the 1-2 for 5.5 hours and only a +$45 profit while ***** up my plans of hopping along the strip hitting some more 2-5. Didn't get a ton of Halloween pics but got some so will toss those here.
in $300 out $345 (pic was a little higher) 5.5 hours.
Some costumes
I think the scantily clad indian was 'working' at bar, but props to her if so for taking a marketing advantage of the holiday. Then again was equally likely just a tourist looking for action.
Walked upstairs to grab some mthrfkn Bojangles. Chicken clearly does the body good.
Decide to stroll over to the luxor and see this wonderfully thick girl in front of me
She's with a few other girls and 2 dudes and they are super wasted and ***** around. They hear me laughing at them 'twerking' on the moving sidewalk thing and so the black chick comes over and backs up to me and starts grinding the fk out of me...we spark up a conversation and she wants me to come to the LAX club with them then go back to 'roll' at the room. Well I'm seriously considering trying to gii (admission: I have never been with a full on black chick) BUT I'm not about to go into a club I'm wearing flip flops a hoody and sweats (I have to explain that "run up to your room and change" is not an option for me lol)...that and I haven't touched e in like over a decade so that's a somewhat scary proposition in itself +I'm pretty damn tired and frustrated from the session, in all honesty if I had just ran up a few hundo having fun I might have made something happen. So anyhow I walk with them to LAX and leave off there, she gives number says to call later but I'm on my way out and pussy out somewhat regretfully but I'm sure there will be other opportunities for such 'colorful' experiences
Sat night I head out (hit a little traffic on strip) to meet up with mr. and mrs. gmoney for sushi at Yama, was packed and clearly has a strong following. Sushi was good but not mind blowing. Had a fun time talking poker and other things though...broke a sake pitcher. Forgot to get any food pics.
gf was tired after so I bailed on planned Venetian session. took Sat off. Good discussions at the Sunday Poker 'Church' meeting, we got into a discussion about the tendency to go on auto-pilot in games you're too comfortable in and in doing so miss a lot of potential value. Set out Sunday night determined to dial in and get a decent score, was gonna put the phone and ipad and books ect aside and really focus +go back to some of the experimental lines I was dabbling in during my very successful August. Went to the Venetian first but I think it was just too dam early and the game wasn't what I wanted so didn't even play. Went instead down to Southpoint where I found a locals game with some drinking/shenanigans going down. I got in a hand with the table over-lag and it turned out that when I tanked even for like 30-45sec it would tilt him to no end...I'm not out to upset anyone but it became super lucrative to just tank every hand with him to which he would steam/spew relentlessly. Only played 1 hour in keeping with my shorter sessions but ended up +$535; sadly my best score of Oct I think but hey I'll take it since I've barely lost at all. In for $300 out for $835
For the record if you're into Asian chicks (points to self) you should hang out at Southpoint. Plethora of attractive Asian women patrons +was a knockout Asian cocktail waitress in poker room, and cute Asian girls working at the Steak and Shake as well as running chips in poker room.
Southpoint knows how to hire cocktail waitresses and dem outfits. lol
Grabbed food at Steak and Shake, chix tenders and fries for $3.99...like a boss, If you're going to pollute your body it better be cheap and taste good (and it did). Took a pic but can't find it...not particularly exciting as you might imagine.
Winning streak had to end but not in too bad a fashion as I hit Excal for a session right after...got caught stealing candy a few times which led to a perfect setup w/KK on the button straddle. Unfortunately played out bad (the board not me) so no payoff and had to grind back my losses to close -$57 in short 30min session. No poker tonight, probably tomorrow night. Also probably won't play the VDS 100k because I feel it might beb etter to target some of the side event/prelims to the HPT over at Stratosphere since I'm playing the main it might let me get more settled in and even mix with some of the potential field.
