So I was thinking about the 1010 hand I posted there, I think against that V I could opt to !4/fold to like $125 since I'm positive it gets him off his entire semi-bluff/drawing range so much better than possibly flatting and facing a big bet on turn oop...but like I said didn't want to play a big pot in this spot and I think folding is still best. Feel free to give views on this one; obviously if were doing this with 1010 and the LAG just flat on button it means we have to take this same line with KK/AA ect...

been pretty much the most uneventful week and a half or so from being sick, even missed the food meet tonight when the gf booked a hour long hair appointment that somehow became 3 hours...in light of all that I probably wont do a big update until maybe Monday or Tuesday. Good news is today was the first day I felt close to back to 100% since being ill; Antibiotics are a beautiful thing.

Did get out for my 3rd 2-5 session of October tonight, only played a little over 90 minutes and +$165 making 3 consecutive winning (if not impressively) sessions at the 2-5 which I am pumped about since I typically run bad (play well but legitimately run bad) at 2-5. All 2 sessions were at different rooms as well.

Considering hitting up the $250 VDS 100k guarantee next week which has 3 starting days Mon-Tues & Wed but def not committing for sure as my main priority right now is getting back some solid cash game volume. Will most likely be grinding the lowly 1-2 of some 2nd/3rd tier rooms tomorrow night; lets see if I can't book a bigger win.

*Will also see if I can't get some fun pics of girls in sleazy Halloween attire wandering the strip tomorrow night

IMO the best Halloween pics are taken at the Peppermill early the next morning. You can play "guess the costume", cause those "sexy cat" costumes look a lot different at 7am than they did at 11pm :-)

FWIW There's EV in playing early if only to be refreshed for the day 2. Otherwise you're playing a lot of poker back to back days.

truth to that but I expect the better of the field (especially those playing multiple reentries) to have moved through on days 1-2 whereas day 3 should hypothetically be composed of the weaker reentry players and more satellite players...hypothetically anyhow. potentially weaker day 1 > less energy day 2 for me b/c used to some big grinds anyhow

Very short 1 hour session at GVR, just gonna go to the strip tomorrow night should be more fun for costume pics and whatnot anyways, might even go down town. Anyone know if any parts of strip or downtown are going to be closed to traffic? Was an easy game I should have ran over but downloaded a new Magic app on new Ipad so was super out of it and only picked up +$31 dollars. So most of my sessions this month have been relatively short only 1-3 hours and the volume of sessions has also been low, but that said I only have 2 losing sessions on the month which is nice considering how nasty September got.

Speaking of my new Ipad, I broke the last one so just re-downloaded my old apps from cloud or whatnot and my PokerIncome data was wiped out/clean. It's not terrible as I have hand written records as well but it was a hell of a lot easier to display and view/filter the data through the app, anyone know how/if I can restore it somehow? thx

Did you break your old one as in can't turn it on or just break the screen?

I don't personally have that app, but most apps like that have an export function where you can send your session data to email, etc.

If you can still use your old iPad to do that, you can then use your new iPad to import what you just exported.

Which version of Poker Income do you have?

Did I misread or were you distracted from poker because you're learning to do magic on an iPad?

I have the free one and it capped me x amount of cash game entries as well as every other section of the app. Did you pay 25 or 30 for it?

I also use PokerIncomePro. My understanding is that no data is stored on their servers - it's all local data. I think you're supposed to use the export function on your old device and the import on your new device. So, I hate to say it, but if you don't have access to the old device you might be hosed.
