Fun couple of days made a bout $130 (oooooooo) the other day at GVR but I guess lost that back in the $125 mtt yesterday, did pick up +$65 back at the Aria 1-3 after I busted out but left really fast b/c I was somewhat tired/off my A-game so was uncomfortable sitting deep. One thing about the mtt was I came in expecting a little more solid field so planned some well executed aggression...became obvious pretty soon x1 x3 x5 pre didnt matter you got the same callers. field was sloppy bad and super sticky stations for the most part so had to change up the game plan and TAG it up more than I would have liked in the early stages. I feel I'll get more solid in terms of composure/relaxation over the next few mtts; I predict will see a cash within the first 4 (this one included)...feel free to call me out on it if I don't.

I'll post some pics from this week so I don't get too long winded. I still need to post that one hand from the tournament in strat sub-forum and I'll link it to here afterwards.

Had to get some work done the other day on car, I always go to and would endorse Southwest Bimmers b/c they do superior work and usually at drastically better prices especially if your a reg customer. I never fail to see a number of 6-series sitting around awaiting more major repairs...one might conclude they are somehow mechanically flawed but keep in mind bimmers are expunsive to maintain and the 6-series tends to attract some pretentious ***** who see a car as a fashion accessory so are less likely to perform regular maintenance.

Coolest coffee table in the lounge...pretty much a chem dipped big bore V8 block thats been powder coated.

Had lunch @Skinny-Fats...its on the industrial (not THE industrial as in the actual road) little access road that runs along 15 just north of Trop East of the strip. It;s a small place I eat at all the time some personal chef from NY opened. Cute girls working there and the food is good...used to be way cheap but prices have bumped up, still low end pricewise. The concept is a healthy side of the menu and an indulgent side. The healthy side is actually better composed as far as flavor complexity and interesting dishes while the 'fat' side is your basic comfort food I'll rarely grab something off.

The chick-a-woffalopolis...obviously from the 'fat' side

Tuna Sriracha Tacos (still cheap and they load them up)

Cauli-fire (buffalo basted cauliflower) sooo good

Hit up a Halloween shop and grabbed some cheap masks to wear for giving candies to the chill'uns...need to talk the gf into banging with the masks on for amazing entertainment potential...could go a step further and even require any noise/sound to be made 'in character' (I think there is some sort of fetish like this? lol)

Off to the Aria mtt...tried to take some chip up progs but unfortunately never got any momentum and peaked at like 18-19k

Waiting for $ seat after

I always park on the roof @CC b/c I like the view so snapped some pics omw out of the nice architecture +couldn't resist a quick Bimmer Pron shoot

That's about it for now...gonna play some ca$h and the Fri Orleans weekly mtt+ hit this thing up this weekend and hopefully find some diamonds in the rough amongst the 'Murcan food truck grubbage

Rather see GF go as Lady Godiva, but that's just me.

Had to Wiki that $%^t had no idea what you were talking about. Thank God 'Peeping Toms' aren't "Struck blind or dead" or I would have been a goner long ago.

Just finished reading through the whole thread. Great stuff Cheese, really tempting to quit the 9-5 and follow in your footsteps! Have always had that in the back of my mind. GL in the MTTs.

Lol thx for reading. Well be forewarned that I made my $ online, live I make less/yr than a public school teacher haha (I need to step up stakes and fix this)...fortunately the gf pulls in more than me and between both +no car payment and a low apt rent+ low general LV price of living and no kids allows for a lot of leeway. All that said, the potential freedom is pretty much unbeatable.

indeed. They have a 2nd location now I haven't been to, I trust the quality will be consistent.

She's the PT so I don't see how this benefits me much...+most her clients are old folks and hefty 'murcan house-wives lol

***I will undoubtedly be in trouble for saying hefty

Has to be some good stories in there! Sound like an epic trip. I have dogs though so can't really do more than a few weeks anywhere.

Hey, not sure if you're following our old buddy Scott Davies, but he made the tv final table at the World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific $10K Main Event. The final table will be aired live on ESPN2 Friday night at midnight central time, 10pm Vegas time. Just a heads up in case you were interested. He's got the 2nd biggest chip stack of the 6 remaining. First prize is a bracelet and over $850,000!!

Ya I would hang out with Scott and we would talk pokerz online back when he was living here and playing but then he started crushing the WSOPC then winning more afterwards and moving to Canada haha...not making it very easy for me to catch up. I'll have to catch that one on T.V. That would be sick if he takes it down; he has a really solid HU game.

I changed my plans. I'll be there Monday. Staying at Palms Place for a week. Let's meet up at Aria for a daily or nightly tournament! Might try the Wynn for their fall classic too!

FINALLY played some 2-5 this month, ran really well at a good table so opted out of the tourney...ended up being an expensive decision as I dumped back most the profits on one hand ...I !3 to $40 in the cutoff with pp99 (had $1400 behind at this point) and the original MP raiser flat w/$600ish behind. Flop came 9-J-4 w/2 spades and we gii so I go from thinking I'm about to tack more on to a big stack to doubling this guy up. I should have stayed b/c table was good but I still don't play enough 2-5 to be completely at ease so seemed best to go after taking the beat. Was in for $500 out for $775 so still nice +.
