The funny thing is of 10 people who relocate here for traditional non-gaming employment, I would expect on average 2 will get busted by one or more vices within 18 months, but it is difficult to say which 2 it will be.

Great town for low level debauchery , but be careful out here. This is a tough town if you have under-developed weaknesses for any of a variety of vices ...

I’m taking a break from the V at the moment, I don’t like the changes on their promo to random seat bc unlike the previous high hand promo it doesn’t even encourage the nits to play wider with hands like small pps and suited connectors to raises. I know a lot of people are turned off by the issue with the mtts I’ve seen on Twitter, I do think that’s ridiculous and needs to be addressed ASAP. Sheldon Adelson will be dead soon not to be offensive or insensitive but he is truly old af.

This makes sense. I spend a lot of time in Vegas because I have a kid there and I also play a lot of poker all over. I do not dabble in carney pit games or clubbing. Will get out of line on occasion but I hate spending money on partying LOL.

Wow haven’t jumped on this thread long time. Just not much going on but grind grind grind. Check out thread in the goals/challenges forum to keep up with that and I’ll have some tournaments in Jan I’ll post on here.

Posting because I found a cool little restaurant to report on. Little dingy place on Industrial called Thai Street. It looks like a hole in the wall you’d never stop in at but this dude at table swore by it and it’s open super late same as me so tried it one night and it’s solid. Really good Thai dishes fairly cheap and tons of spices and sauces to play around with.





I got some glass noodle dish and the pad Thai both were really good then the obligatory fries ice cream. The dishes are decent size so not leaving hungry.




Anyhow def worth getting this if you bet late night craving, I’ve hit it up several times after sessions and everything has been decent.

Long overdue briefing for this thread. This little epidemic fiasco and the likely fallout of it has pushed me to point I feel like I have been heading towards over the last few years. In one week I will be ‘leaving Las Vegas’ for an unknown amount of time. I explain more about it in my Goals and Challenges thread where you can also read about my poker trajectory/history since last summer. It’s been a fun ride and I still love the city here. This thread will become an ongoing series of trip reports eventually as I plan to get out here for big chunks of WSOPs as well as other good times I’m able to throughout the year. I’ll post an update when I get settled in after move with info where/when I will be streaming online.

Wow if all the moving to Vegas to be a poker pro, you’re the one that’s made it the longest. Especially considering this starts from like 2009-2010 I think over in the AVP days, crazy.

That Card Club is north of Orlando.

If the same guy I’m thinking of this guy is amazing. He rides his bike through downtown all day every day just waving his little flag and yelling “MAGA” and wearing that shirt. But always smiling and waving. Several screws loose but 100% harmless, makes me crack up every single time I see him.

Will have a big update on here soon, in the process of another move (still in fla). Been on a 1-2plo (it’s a $5 bring in so plays bigger but is a $500 cap which tempers that)heater at Orange City live game up almost $3000 in last 4 sessions. Hopefully when settled can get some streaming set up since Ill be playing online decent amount, wish I didn’t sell my old pc but w/e. Also I’ll be on the Jacksonville Best-bet live stream deep 2-2nlh game on the 29th of July and possibly some of the other games streamed earlier on July if work schedule accommodates.
