Had a fun last weekend before classes were back in session. Hit a few nl sessions at Venetian, hasn’t been in sooo long to have noticed some changes. Had a few drinks and met some cool people from Colorado and England talked **** and made jokes...was painfully reminded how much more entertaining it is than the mundane o8 grind bs generally unhappy people but hey such is life. There was a sick looking plo game going but I didn’t have much cash on me so pussied out.

Rough few weeks, picked a bug up at hospital took me out of action for a bit missed a few mtts I was interested in and a research opportunity . After that it was into an exam week so been a blur.

Been really bad on poker volume for the aforementioned reasons only getting in maybe 50 hours in the last few weeks total.

Hoping to up the volume and get in the Bellagio for more 20-40 this month. Other than that there’s a few restaurants I’ll be checking out soon, the new Hells Kitchen one one the strip and some place called I Love Sushi.

I Love Sushi was my favorite sushi place when lived in Vegas.

Busy as usual, picked up my hours at the tables which is good, also landed a spot in neural implant research which is pretty cutting edge. I’m seriously considering taking this summer mostly off academically to avoid burning out and just destroy some poker and hoard up some $$$ so that’s a big consideration for me at the moment. If I go that route I’ll be taking shots as high as I am able to in all formats for the duration of summer.

I checked out the I love sushi place it’s pretty solid. Some of the basics were just that, however the ‘burn your stomach’ roll and sashimi salad were very good and fresh with generous portions of tuna and the matcha fried ice cream was the real deal rather than the cornflake covered vanilla scoop you often encounter elsewhere.







It’s not AYCE which is kinda a bummer but I left sufficiently full at a comparable price.

Pretty boring few weeks otherwise, haven’t gone to Bellagio for any bigger limit games so that’s something I’ll likely get on this month. I did get to see the end of a police chase right before I turned into campus, dude hit a car rolled it into a light poll, jumps out full sprint with 2 police suvs right on his tail then 8-9 more cop cars fly in and block off every side road for a block or 2 making me about 15 min late for a class.

Finally jumped back in plo today, got relatively quickly deleted in a 2nd nuts vs nuts river spot but it’s plo so. Results aside it felt good af stepping away from the o8 sludge and has got me a bit motivated to shot take/dabble some more this month.
