Been a really fun weekend/week here grinding hard, no 2-5 bc haven't seen the right game(s) or felt it but getting in a ton of hours all the same . Last night NCJ dropped in at PHo, watched me scoop a $700 pot with Ac2c in a $50 splash pot upon sitting down. Later we ended up in same game along with Trooper and Irish guy (I'm terrible with names, post name itt if you happen to read). Got stuck for a bit but the game was great (especially after Trooper left haha) and all four of us booked pretty good profits for the night. Mostly just winning EXCEPT for Saturday night at the Bellagio...I sometimes have '1' drink when I play...usually a beer; The crazy drunkeness at this Bellagio game inspired me to also order a scotch on the rocks which came out in basically a @$$Kn mason jar with a few ice cubes, had to be like 4-5 shots easy. So yeah I'm a lightweight, didn't really lose $ but failed to make big money in an absolutely epic game. To punish myself I've nixed even the 1 drink when I'm working for now.

Been eating pretty amazing but amazingly bad this week, big awesome meal at Chada Thai for Gobbo's bday/lvl meet, Hash House AGAIN, and a pretty sweet new pizza place at GVR. Need to hit the gym harrrd this week.

Pizza Rock just opened a location at GVR, food is solid and multiple pizza styles for anyone's preference. Also a great beer selection, this was a dark porter called New Belgium 1555 and was so good.

more likely indeed, however it can still be lucrative vs the typical 1-2/1-3 players simply for disguising the hand. the lowbee players these days believe it or not TRY (major emphasis on try) to range to some extent, and in their mind no one would !3 with 67s which can lead to a bigger payoff (but to be honest in a 1-2 1-3 if you connect and they hit something your probably getting paid regardless) I keep those hands in my three-bet range more to bring up $ from cbets in position as well as to keep up a loose wide opening image to get paid on my bigger hands. of course if you get !4 they are usually nutted to KK/AA and depending on the sizing you probably lose the ability to have potentially stacked them had you flatted the original bet.

1-2/1-3 regs of a broad range ascribe to certain sizing principles that have no logical explanations/connections...don't want to get into it too much (top secret!) but my ranges are pretty whacked out for various actions specifically to manipulate sizing and future sizing.

Whole point of 3b 67cc is to bluff and rep, not hope to get paid (you only hope to hit if you're in a spot where villain is never folding and you have to improve to continue)

Meant more to get paid by keeping my opening % grossly obviously high even to recs, not necessarily on the hand itself. Noticed you had quite the VPIP the other night but didn't know if that was just drinking/***** around or standard for you haha

^I export data April 15 every year and reset records (obviously I frequently recombine/reassess). I'll post something of my first 100 hours of the new data when I hit it, should be interesting to see how it comes out over a short sample size. I've had a couple of particularly nasty losses so hopefully it won't be embarrassing haha

Been busy grinding. Have a ton of hands I'll post from time to time again after I update when weekend ends.

Been a trying week, YES the games were great and the variance high, unfortunately I ran far on the wrong side of it. Found no shortage of crazy loose games where I could get my $ in way ahead but ran bad bad. Could compile a nice list of the hands but I'll spare the details, worst one may have been a 4 way all in on a 5d6c7c flop holding 8c9c, figure my flush outs are str flush only but happy with nut str...cards turn up and it's me vs pp55, A8, and ppJJ no other club draw; 55 gets there on a 6 river. That was probably the worst but was a lot of the same. Played less than 4 hours of 2-5 for $500+ but had my worst week of the year at 1-2/1-3. Not sure what/where I'll play tonight but will be nice to start swinging back up.
