is there any way to tell if poker will still be a way of earning a living in vegas 10-20-50+ years from now?

There is only the "Probability" of earning a living in decades to come...

Las Vegas won't even exist as a city after the earthquake of 2044, but you can play RMB 100/200+ in New Las Vegas after China colonizes the moon.

Yeah, but I charge for the personal analysis.

In less than 50 years I predict it certainly won't.

3 possible reasons:
-There will be much more addictive virtual reality entertainment options.
-Artificial Intelligence will be omnipresent and possibly integrated into everyone and no one will have a skill edge.
-The few remaining humans will be huddled in fallout shelters from devastating world war III

It's not possible to make a living off poker today, so no reason to think it will be possible 10 or 20 years from now. Sure it's possible to increase your bankroll over time, but I don't think you can live off of it. You need other sources of income and support.

Some form of decentralized poker may provide players an opportunity to make a living, due to theoretically lower cost structures .... but that remains to be seen.

No my point was; VR sex would be a viable option for those that may not be able to get some so easily IRL. Point is, I dont think distraction of sexy avatars in poker VR would be an issue; someone could go have VR sex elsewhere.

Anyways; obv it wasn't a great joke since I have to explain it; moving along...

The world can go many ways by 2030 it is really hard to say. I personally believe the theory that the colorado river will run dry by the 2030s. So when that happens idk what will happen to vegas. But assuming that doesn't happen will everyone gamble with bitcoin against AI opponents?

The 36th Amendment will clearly delineate the rights of non-cyborg artificial intelligence.
