So I like to listen to my TUNEIN app and to get a good feel for the city why not listen to the local radio station that offers up to the minute local news, weather, traffic and sports updates, usually at the top of the hour. I find almost every major city has such a station, even the ones in Canada, but I find the ones in Vegas don't offer any of that and to top it off they will use national news at the top of the hour with NO local content,,anyone know why?

I hate that there is nothing like KFI 640am here in Vegas. No 1070am knx either... but 720am has some good syndicated programming

I still listen to 640 KFI on iheartradio even though I moved east. Great station

I sometimes listen to Costa Rica 95.5 FM (Noventa Cinco Cinco Jazz) online though I moved to Las Vegas again 8 years ago. No local LV news however.

There is a lot of local Las Vegas and Nevada news on KNPR 88.9 FM. Not the traffic and weather sort of news though. A lot of local business and politics news.

Good suggestion on KNPR, the Nevada news is albeit very brief but it is something,bottom line it is unfortunate that there really is no Vegas station that is good for listening to while driving around that keeps you up to date on local news, weather, traffic and sports
