To be frank, I got vaccinated a couple of months ago, I do not look to play poker for any significant economic benefit, which is a good thing because I am not good at playing other than for my own entertainment.
I am not a good judge of "the tables" generally as I've only played live 3 or 4 times since March 2020.
Entertainment value is still to be had, my feeling is that wearing a mask is common sense, like a poker/gambling condom if you will.
No offense to our Southern players, but
jfc .... what is the vaccination rate in Miss, Ala and Georgia ? It's not the locals in Nevada I would worry about, I am less sanguine about the tourists.
Before the plexiglass went up, I played at the Golden Nugget, where being masked was not much of an annoyance. Hated the plexiglass however. I haven't played since the plexiglass came down around Las Vegas, but will give it a shot after I get back next week, albeit with a mask on.
(I do wear a mask frequently here in Costa Rica , in public or in a group/office setting. It is required also while traveling to/from the US. More than masks however, it sucks that there is a 9 pm curfew here, haven't even looked at a casino here (or in Panama where the games were really fun pre March 2020.)
