Is there a list of the rake (plus jackpot rake) that the various card rooms in town charge? If not can someone list some here? Looking mostly for low stakes NL (1/2, 1/3, 2/5)

From memory Bellagio, Aria and Caesar's are all $4 max rake with no promotions.
Everything else on the strip is higher.

^^^ pretty sure that's correct. Also, Wynn is $5 and MGM is $4+$2.

edit: I think Venetian is also $5.

Unusual for low stakes to be a time game.

I don't play in the WSOP room. I can find low stakes anywhere and I want the comps and tier credits.

Comps actually seem to be decent at WSOP. You check in once per shift and get $10 worth of Total Rewards points, without having to check out. So even if you end up playing for 15 minutes, you've already gotten the $10. Heck, I was there today and they didn't even verify I'd actually bought into a game.

probably not worth it for me... probably ruin my adt by playing live poker. but interesting none the less.. i guess ur not getting tier tho cos they dont know when u leave.

When did they start doing the TR points for cash games at WSOP? Two years ago they just had food coupons you could ask for, and they often were out of them by the end of a shift.

Btw, Orleans techincally has the lowest rake in town at $3 max, but they do take out $2 promo drop in their holdem games.

Venetian raised their rake? I know it used to be $4.

Compared to a year ago, the Venetian lost games across the board. They lost one game in each of these four categories: 4-8 fixed limit hold ‘em, 1-2 no-limit hold ‘em, 2-5 no-limit hold ‘em, and 5-10 no-limit hold ‘em. In addition, the Venetian lost four Omaha games (O/8, PLO, and Big O).

As I wrote in my November article, I think the loss of the Omaha games is not temporary or a statistical anomaly. Those games are likely gone for good (medium stakes to the Bellagio and small stakes to the Orleans).

The loss of the other games is something to keep a close watch on due to the Venetian’s most recent decision sure to upset players. The maximum cash game rake was increased from $4 to $5 effective December 26th.(2015) Combined with a cut in comps, closing the free coffee station, and removing poker boxes from the cashier, I thought there was a real possibility the Venetian would do worse than the 18 games they had running.

V increased rake in January. Wynn did just about a week or two ago, with opening of new room.

This isn't true. Maybe u mean 1/2 PLO? 1/2 NL and 2/5 I know for a fact aren't time raked. It's$5 max rake. Also yes venetian raised their rake to $5 to answer the other guy.

Caesars is now $4+$0
Bally's, PHo, Harrah's, Linq are $4+$1
Flamingo and Rio Poker Room (not WSOP area) is $5 + $1
Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and MGM are now $4 + $2
Mirage is still $4+$1 I think
Venetian and Wynn are $5+$0
Aria and Bellagio are $4+$0 like Caesars

That's all I played the last few months. It's funny bc V and Wynn increased their rake from $4 to $5 but all Caesars properties except Flamingo and Rio dropped from $5 to $4. Odd that one room goes one way, and another goes the opposite direction.

All MGMs rake $4. Aria and Bellagio have no jp drop. The others take $1 except MGM Grand takes $2 I believe.

For Caesars, Caesars Palace is $4+0. Harrah's and Linq are $4+1. Flamingo, Bally's, Planet Hollywood and Rio are $5+1.

Wynn and Venetian are $5+0.

Stratosphere, South Point, Sam's Town, Golden Nugget, Binion's and all Station are $4+1.

TI is $4+2.

Orleans is $3+2.

Suncoast is $3+1 I don't think there is a jackpot drop in stud.

That should cover all of the major rooms. There may be an error in there. I have not done a poker survey in a while. Feel free to correct with more recent info.

Thanks for the updates. I knew there would be a couple of mistakes in that list but it is a good start.

Club Fortune is another $3 rake room but I don't know if the jp drop is $1 or $2.

Smh. They switched to $4 when things were slow and now back to $5 as soon as WSOP is in town. Shady stuff Bally's.

I'm worried this means Harrah's, and Planet Hollywood will go back to $5 as well.
