Didn't Trooper make some big announcement a week ago that his life and vlog were about to experience a "MAJOR" change and that lots of things were about to happen. Did anything change at all the day or week after his little rant/speech about how he was planning to reconsider his life?

I feel like it's the boosted board challenge or weight loss challenge all over again. Trooper constantly evaluated his life and decides that something has to change. He then rants about how life is gonna be different starting tomorrow and then he falls asleep and all his "plans" disappear and he goes back to his routine of doing nothing at all.

Same stuff, day in and day out.

I wonder if literally anything new or original will happen in his vlog in 2017. I bet the first few vlogs of 2018 will involve declarations of "big changes" and bold challenges which will never be discussed again past the 2nd week of the year.

I am sure the Las Vega Raiders will make the Super Bowl in this town before Trooper ever gets out of his routine for more than a day or two. It's sad but his vlog today is probably in the exact same place that it was 3-5 years ago. The only difference was that 3-5 years ago, he probably still had hope.

Everyone else’s blog is exactly the same, only difference is that troop has been around a lot longer.

Is it possible to win TWO tournaments on the Youtube live stream?

If you look back, I have been the biggest fan of Jaman Burton, in this thread.

Still enjoying his vlogs, but I have become skeptical of his $100+/hour win rate he is claiming. He very rarely seems to ever have a losing session.

Hard to believe St. Louis poker players are as terrible as Jaman claims..but even if they are a $100+/hour win rate over several hundred hours playing 1/2 and 2/5 seems impossible for anyone.

Anyone else concur or should we just believe the numbers Jaman claims?

I can't help but have the same back of the mind feeling/wonder. Where are the suckouts and coolers, or the sessions when you just seem to get pipped hand after hand? I'm not doubting that he's a winning player, since he shows enough action to suggest the competition isn't great and that he makes good decisions; but he's either running really well for a lot longer than I'd think possible, or a downswing is coming when the law of averages rears its ugly head.

Yes, that's exactly my point. If you are a 'good' player you might have 3 winning sessions for every 5 you play. Jaman never seems to have one of those days we've all had where nothing goes right.

If his numbers are to beliebed (sic), he has been running hotter than the sun playing nearly every day for the past two months..

Yeah, is numbers seem way inflated for his stakes. For the amount of hours he plays, his variance seems way more 'favorable' then possible.

Consider me jealous of Jaman’s Heater. Makes me wish I had moved to St. Louis instead of Vegas.

Has anyone mentioned the newest vlogger - Jesse Bissonette? He has been on a pretty good heater as well but he has some massive leaks in his game.

It's possible Jaman is the Fedor Holz of LLSNL. Some ppl just have the innate ability to sun-run, seemingly endlessly although a few hundred hours is an lol statistical sample size.

I'd say that Krauts blog is unique in that he has a family and kids to vlog about. Poker is definitely not the focus.

Now that it's legal in NV, the poker+weed vloggin space is wide open.

Tomorrow, Dec 20th, @andrewneeme and I are hosting a special holiday Meet Up Game @WestgateVegas. We'll be lowering the stakes and increasing the level of fun. It'll be 2/3 NL. The game starts at 7pm. Small party after around 12:30am. Everyone is welcome!

I thought he was very rude and disrespectful not just to PK but to his audience in that video. He looked like he was angry and it was clear the YouTube comments had gotten under his skin. Is it a huge deal? No not really but it was so easy to handle that situation much better than he handled it.

I saw that article in the Vegas Review Journal. Saw this statement:

Watts, a professional poker player, has made videos on his channel TheTrooper97Vlog since 2012.
I doubt even he would call himself a pro. He is a reg though (obviously).

I think some of them are very different. Boski videos going over tournaments instead of cash games is a major difference for me. Andrew/Brad are about cash games. Trooper has almost no poker besides his Westgate stuff and it’s really more about the daily life of a 1-2 NL reg instead of a pro or semi-pro that plays 5-10. Nobody promotes Starbucks as much as he does. Some vloggers travel more than others and have different hobbies and places to hang out.

Jaman said he tries to be a mix of both Trooper and Andrew in his videos.

You didn't read my comments correctly. The big deal comment had nothing to do with the PK situation. That was to do with Trooper's excuse for not showing up to the first vlogger game.

I clearly stated that I wasn't happy with the PK situation so we agree on that.

Meant that everyone’s is the same as everyone that does a vlog does their same routine and it’s not boring yet because everyone else is relatively new compared to trooper, a couple more years of hear boski saying I’m out, or Favorable by neeme will get old....

I totally believe Jaman and think he's an excellent player BUT there is no doubt he's on a huge heater and has been running really really good.

Okay that makes sense. It might help that they don’t always do a daily vlog; I’m looking forward to the next Neeme video after watching his latest one.

OTOH some might enjoy a daily vlog and can get in the habit of looking forward to a video every day.

Btw I saw Neeme playing 5-10 at a couple of tables at Bellagio yesterday on a Tuesday evening so that’s good news for Neeme fans.

Trooper's worst personality trait is his antagonistic relationship with the truth. He lies readily and often.
