The Top 5 Poker Vlogger Rankings for the week of November 20, 2017:

1. Jeff Boski. Maybe it is because we missed him during his time away. Maybe it is because he is the only really interesting tournament vlogger out there. Maybe it is because of his love for red meat and pink parts. Whatever it is, his recent vlogs have been great and Boski moves up 4 spots to the #1 ranking this week. It appears he is back to the regular vlog grind and we love him for it.

2. Brad Owen. Drops a spot due to his too short of a LATB vlog, but expecting more great vlogs from him in the future. He has to be the most under-rated Vegas vlogger out there. Extended Cosmo footage only helps his ranking. Would like to see more vlogs of him playing without Neeme. Why is it always "Neeme and Owen" why not "Owen and Neeme"?

3. Andrew Neeme. Like Owen, he is better when he isn't in a pre-scripted group setting like LATB or the Westgate meet-up game. Would really like to see him vlog some 5/10, or above, at the Bellagio, or anywhere higher than 2/5. His road trips are always tops when he vlogs non-poker material, as well.

4. Jaman Burton. We love Jaman, but his best work is in Vegas. St. Louis poker is just a little to janky for our tastes. Non-descript poker rooms in middle-america tend to be a bit boring. Hopefully another Vegas trip is on the horizon.

5. The Trooper. He needs to continue to try new things to move back up the rankings to where he was pre-2017. Huge character flaw about him is how he blocks and deletes most negative comments on YouTube. Be a man and take the criticism along with the accolades. More Kelli and less hawking his schmattas, and he can easily move up the list.

On the outside looking in.

6. Poker Kraut. Looks like he and Trooper will be battling it out for 5th the rest of the year. He might be the only vlogger whose non-poker material is usually more interesting than his poker material. Two things to get him back in the Top 5: More Feather, and more pokes at Trooper..

1. Brad Owen. He normally plays second fiddle to Neeme, but in the past couple of months he has consistently had the best poker vlogs out there. Great sense of humor, and give us moar Cosmo! Scenes of the fire around Santa Rosa, although sad, were very interesting for the viewers. Hand detail and thinking are tied for the best along with Neeme. I look forward to his vlogs more than I do any other vlogger.

2. Andrew Neeme. The "gold standard" of poker vloggers. Hard to say anything negative about him. Maybe some of his recent vlogs feel a tiny bit stale..but that's like criticizing the Mona Lisa because she doesn't smile quite enough.

3. Jaman Burton. "Middle-aged Hot Chocolate" is by far the most improved vlogger out there. Watch all of his recent Las Vegas vlogs (not the ones from back in June when he started, but his ones from October) and you will agree he deserves to be in the Top 3. Great music choices for his vlogs, the best music choices of all the vloggers out there.

4. Poker Kraut. Enjoy his self deprecating humor and his interactions with his partners in crime, Mariana and The Feather. Went down in the rankings a bit when he vlogged the one girl who crapped her pants. Deprecating - GOOD. Defecating - BAD. More detailed hand analysis would be appreciated.

5. Jeff Boski. If he continues to vlog more, he can easily return to the Top 5. But we need more than 1 or 2 vlogs in 2 months for that. And the strip club vlog was just a little bit creepy. He is still the best of the tournament vloggers, and bonus points for the nicknames he gives opponents and his shots of his awesome boxers and food porn.

On the Outside Looking in:

6. The Trooper. Props for the LATB and Westgate vlogs..both were very good. However, these 360 degree vlogs, while good in theory, are the nut low. I tried to watch and follow the action, but it ends up giving me a headache. More Kelli and less hat sales, (do we really need to see Jimbob from Bumphug, Arkansas receiving his hat? and Trooper can break into the Top 5..

Your notion of a "success story" is a depressing tale of financial struggle, chronic loneliness, poor decisions and crippling mental illness to the rest of us.

Tony has a lot of issues, autism, crazy (imo) christian mother raising him, laziness, lying, anger issues, traumas, etc.

Tony, the blog is indeed depressing and always SSDD but I'm glad you have a bigger sock roll these days. I just wish that having more money gave you a little peace of mind but it doesn't seem to.

You're clearly a newcomer to the TBC / Sevencard2003 saga. Go ahead. Encourage. And come back and revisit your comment in a decade.

Whaaaaaat? Brad drops a spot after posting his best vlog ever? If you didn't laugh your ads off on that latb vlog. Although I do admit I look forward to Boskies vlogs the most. Short, crisp, witty, and to the point.

Trooper gives a lesson on how to lose all your winnings for the month in one session. I guess he was getting too close to having to buy that boosted board. He has now made $86 since starting the Boosted Board Challenge back in July.

It feels like things are crashing down on trooper

- Westgate Poker, 5 tables, to 3 tables, to Im guessing 1 table in a few weeks.
- Youtube views on the decrease, not to mention the demonetizing situation youtube has going
- Hat sales are declining
- His vlogging game changer dashed. Really terrible.
- And poker lol, he is break even for the last few months....and refuses to get help. There is really helpful advice in some of those review HH threads, but his ego wouldnt let him go to 2+2 for help

He should go for broke.
Something like a vlog that he says if he gets 1million views/likes he will sell his car and take the money to the high stakes.

Or go full T&A with the dirty girls on the strip etc.

what he is doin aint workin, and its gona keep tilting him as it continues to spiral downward

How do you lose $1000k in 1/2? That's bizarre and almost never happens. He should buy in for less to put off ruin for a longer time.

I think if he buys in for less his play will be closer to correct too. He got in 150bb with pocket tens. That’s terrible. And he can’t seem to fold an overpair to save his life. If he shortstacks, both those plays would be fine.

Buying in short would minimize the amount he could lose in a single hand and would make some of his plays better, or at least less bad. But lets not kid ourselves. The root of his problems have nothing to do with the stack depths he plays. His problems are all based on the fact that he is a bad poker player that has done little to nothing to become a decent poker player. Playing with a shorter stack would not change that. Also, we don't know what sort of incorrect adjustments he would make when playing a short stack. He plays too passively in general to play a short stack very well and when he does play aggressively it's often in the wrong spots.

I didn't see the hand breakdown, don't know if he flopped a set or not.

True, but we have yet to see Trooper on the good end of the good games.

My definition of a "good game" is when one or more players has obvious leaks and there is enough action to win sizeable pots while holding a significant odds advantage in a hand. In those games there is no reason for a good player to resort to potential 50/50 preflop flips.
