Limon, JRB, DN... there are a bunch of known players that have done very well for themselves with a hosting gig.

This is great news for Trooper and I wish him success at it.
Did Trooper say they were going to pay him something? If he didn’t, why assume they are paying him? He may have just decided to do this without telling anyone in the room about it.

going from memory (I haven't re-watched the vid)...

Trooper said it's "been in the works" for weeks and he is scheduling specific days for the game(s) with the poker room. He said "the more the merrier" and hopes to get multiple tables running.

It sure *sounds* like a hosting deal. But, I don't have any insider knowledge.

What are the details? Is it just a one time thing, like the Neeme vlogger games? Is it a recurring thing (say, once a week)? Or will Trooper just be playing there every day for a period of time and players can play with him if they get seated at his table?

So Trooper says he is playing Wednesdays 5-5 $300 to $1000 buy in and then Thursday's 5-5 $500 to $2000 buy in . Trooper going busto this week.

Can he still host games at Westgate if he is busto?

Jamie Gold was confirmed Busto when he hosted and played in the 2/5 games at the Tropicana, so I don’t see why not..

Yea but he was making money(possibly) from the $500-$1000 lessons he was giving daily and that would give him money to play that night.

I love how Trooper has to go on and on about how great he played some hands before telling us how much he lost lol. At the same time his response to butchering his biggest pot of the night when he ended up playing for stacks on the turn with the ace high flush draw is "What are you gonna do?"

Trooper brags about losing the minimum with AA his his latest vlog. He still loses 214 overall. So is he implying that if he had average instinct, he would've lost 1200. Dude is a fish looking in a mirror and thinks he sees another fish.

Is Trooper going to short buy once into the LATB games and quit when/if he loses it? Or does he have a backer? Seems like BRM suicide if he doesn't. Do the featured LATB players get appearance fees?

So what will provide the most comedy? Trooper commenting on the 5/10 game or playing with hole card cams in the 5/5 games? I am guessing we are in for some good laughs the next 3 days.

Too bad villain didn’t go bet/bet/shove when Trooper had AA. He would have lost a lot more than 214. That villain played it how Trooper would play it so it’s no surprise he laid down the aces.

Not if you want to watch it live. It will stream for free on twitch. To watch it later you may need a subscription.

What is the likelihood that Trooper knows that the World Series will be going on 10 miles from where he will be tonight?

As someone who wanted to watch Heat instead of the Super Bowl, I would say slim to none..

I expect he's unaware of most current events. He spends too much time videoing and pokering and selling hats to keep up with other stuff.

TBH, I'm unaware of most current events myself. I do know what month it is though, so I got that going for me.
