Trooper has been content with living wage + $.01 for the past 25+ years. If we ever get UBI (universal basic income) in America I don't think trooper would do another day of work for the rest of his life.

Troop would just say something like I need to teach this guy a lesson, blah, blah, blah
The reason Trooper gets criticized for his play is he often plays so badly that it's comical to listen to him. Much of his reasoning is really bizarre.

He also is much more arrogant than Andrew and tries to act like he is really good and serious about the game.

Not trying to defend Trooper here, but dude not everyone can be out there making $250k a year. At least he is trying to get something going ie the clothing thing ie the vlog thing, getting involved travelling for a poker site etc. He may neglect improving his poker game, but you cant fault the guy for trying to get some sources of income rolling in. Now he might not be going about it all in the correct way and maybe he hasnt capitalized on all his opportunities, but that is a different discussion. It's not like he's sitting on a corner with a cardboard sign and a tin cup for change.

Doug definitely trolling with the YT revenue. He's done it before showing something like over 2 million+ as "barely covering his cost".

Why single out the Troop for this? It's not like everyone isn't trying to sell you something out there. Can't fault the Troop for playing the same game everyone else is playing.

Trooper latest vlog:

Once again Trooper goes deep in the hole (-$500) before turning it around.

This seems to be a recurring theme.

Trooper must hyper donk at the start of his poker sessions.

To be fair there is a big difference in creating an online livestream for people to come and give you money if they so choose and chasing people down on the street who are just trying to get from point A to point B with aggressive panhandling. I agree that his berating of dealers, union workers and tipped professions is very grumpy old man of him. If you don't like how a particular set of service providers are compensated then don't solicit their services.

At least Trooper has finally resorted to calling what he says as "complaints." I don't watch all of Trooper's vids but seems that I recall him trying to avoid, and denying at times, calling his complaints "complaints."

To be fair a wife beater isn't a wife murderer yada yada yada thanks for pointing out that he's not actually a homeless person and can click "go live"'on a website and stand in front of a camera.

What it takes to impress some of you or to garner unsolicited defending is... well it's it the opposite of impressive

Actually I see waaay more berating of service workers from the younger generation. Just sit in the Aria or Bellagio poker rooms in Vegas and watch the whining about watermelon juice temperature or raging that the phone chargers at the table don't work. Just dont get it.

I actually have more sympathy for a "legitimate" homeless person who has come on hard times than a 45yo lazy sack that has every potential but chooses to be a hypocrite and beg for money to gamble away.

He doesn't reinvest the donations for a better camera, drone, website, exclusive content, etc....nope he takes donations to jam A-K for $300 when he knows he is beat.

I would rather give two bucks to a homeless person even if it is for cheap vodka than the other option.

The street performers and homeless don't really chase me down that much. They usually just let you walk by. The only time the street performers annoy me is when they attract large crowds that get in my way. The people in costumes never bother me.

Street performers probably make a lot of the same arguments defending themselves that Trooper and his fans make when defending him. Street performers are enjoying the freedom of doing what they want to do without having a boss looking over their shoulder, if you don't like the street performer don't look, street performers are providing entertainment so if people want to give them money for their efforts that's fine, etc.

Most of the street performers are like Pure Aggression. They don't try to bother anybody and are easy to walk by if you're not interested.

The "street performers" that people mostly have a problem with are the rappers and dancers who scare them.

Been to Vegas 50+ times over the past 25 years and the only 'street' person I ever had a problem with is this one rapper dude who always hangs out near Bally's/Paris who will hand you a CD he made and then demands you buy it from him.

This same guy has done this to me 3 times over a 1-2 year period, so I'm guessing that is his regular schtick..

Wrt to begging etc on the Strip, whats the scam with the guys I've sometimes seen with cd's? Seen them a few times on the same day trying to hand a cd to a person and then when they do they seem to kinda surround them. Is it just ouright robbery and the cd thing is to get them to stop and catch them kinda off guard? They were working the area around the Encore where the streets were fairly quiet.

Ha, you must've typed this at the same time I was typing my post above which is a bit of a coincidence. In saying that it may be a different person as this involved a group of 5 or 6 guys.

That is funny, and I think it is a similar scam. 5-6 guys, or so, but then one of them gets in your face and you have to persuade him you aren't falling for his scam and try to give him back his CD.

This one always happens near Bally's/Paris/pH..maybe they have another group doing similar up the strip at Encore, like you said.
