Back in the day I made modest income from some websites and google's ad sense was the smallest part of that. If you are getting click through or full ad views it's going to approach the higher end of the social blade estimates but my guess is mid-range is rather optimistic.
And yes they used to be pretty emphatic about ad rate/revenue disclosure being a no-no. I'm assuming that hasn't changed.
If SrslySrs says $1-$2/1k views that's $2177-$4355 for Polk's 2.17m views in the last 30 days and I'd buy that.
For perspective Casey Neistat has 33m views in the last 30 days. Social blade estimates the monitization at $8k to $133k. SS's estimate would put it at $30K-60k.
If Polk was actually making $200k/mo. That would put Neistat in the realm of $3M/month.
So whatever that number was Doug flashed it ain't monthly YouTube revenue.
