I'm no tourney specialist, but was it +EV for Boski to fire 4 bullets in his latest event? I get that he said the field was pretty soft and the blinds vs. starting stack wasn't terrible, but I also wonder if maybe he was partly influenced by pride and the fact that he's filming this stuff for viewers? And if 4 was okay, why not 5? Or 6?

Perfectly fine. At some point starting stack is such a small amount of blinds that it is no longer +EV (or the re-entry period ends).

He couldn't fire more than 4 bullets because the re-entry period was over before he busted the 4th time. He said he was prepared to enter the $1650 three times (he ended up entering twice and cashing for 3x the buy-in), so I don't see why he wouldn't reenter a $400 event several more times than that.

Reentering with a full stack is really never -EV, regardless of how short you are, unless so many bad players have already busted that you are no longer a favorite against the field (and enough of a favorite to beat the rake). If anything, entering midway into the tournament is actually a slight ICM advantage.

Doubt hes up that much probably more like 1,500, Feb he broke even Jan can't remember.

He gave it a terrible title and even criticized his own video at the end (I think he said it was boring).

If you're apologizing to your audience because your video sucks, then make a better video or don't come out with a video. But this makes it look like he prefers quantity over quality (nothing new here).

I think he made his video worse when he said that. It also makes him look desperate for money because why else would he put that video out there?

Fortunately I also watched the PK video and it was amazing. Even Boski firing 4 bullets and going 0 for 4 was way better.

Yeah but with him you never know what the title really means so all in all just add it to the trash bin.

lol new troop vid. was going to post earlier today when the talk was on quality over quantity how his every day vlogs started as a 30 day challenge and never ended. looks like he might take a day or two off. hopefully he realizes then that doing 2 or 3 better videos a week like he used to do, and like neeme now does, is the better way to grow the channel.

He's finally snapped lmao pressure on him self the dude is basically LAZY... I work 50 hours a week play poker and other things that consumes my time I don't complain just do it. I think he's really burned out because of the comments and/or the lousy videos he's putting out and not making what he wants to!!

It really tilts the **** out of me when trooper complains about spending hours a day on these videos yet he wont spend a single second learning about Youtube basics or basic marketing principles...

FWIW, by "midway" I meant after half the field has been eliminated. This happens all the time. If you mean "midway" in terms of the total running time, you are arguably correct, in that in a large field tournament "midway" would be after the money bubble.

Trooper is either trolling or Molly gave him an ultimatum. Stepdad Trooper gotta earn that money money money to support his new ready-made family. 75% he is trolling and will release something tomorrow. 20% ultimatum. 5% he is avoiding the weigh-in with the Kraut, I believe it was supposed to be this weekend.

Trooper plays 16 hours of poker a week and spends 42 hours managing his coffee habit. You can't possibly compare your life to that hectic schedule.

That was true a year or two ago. At this point, I think it's best for Trooper to bust out so he can move on with his life. It would be worse for him to continue just skating by on his mediocrity.

I can't wait to see Kraut deliver the punishment to Trooper.

Trooper is the hardest working poker vlogger in the biz. He's earned a nice vacation. Hope he gets some rest and comes back strong in a few days.

Oh **** burnt out? This guy has no idea what it's like to work 50 hours a week, be married with kids, and still find the time to exercise and socialize. He has no responsibilities other than ones that are personally fiscal. He doesn't exercise, doesn't cook or apparently clean (throws clean laundry on the floor). I'm seriously confounded still on what Tropper is so burnt out on. If it takes him 4 hours to make a 10 minute vlog then he needs to streamline and stop the assembly line method of daily vlogging. Cutting back is not a bad thing. He could possibly play more poker and create more riveting and interesting content.

On a side note: sucks if you paid for exclusive content and then Troop doesn't provide. Timing here is a little sus.
