With so many losers looking to take trooper down I am surprised he has flashed this screenshot...... no chance he is paying any sort of tax on this earnings and I can think of a few people in this thread who would spend a few hours showing this to the IRS

He doesn't necessarily think things thru.. In regards to things like this on social media you can claim it was doctored to inflate one's social status or even created as part of a role he plays a youtube personality (this works). In his case this approach/explanation would be ill advised as he has multiple videos talking about his hat business with multiple 'sales' happening. Those 'sales' could have been staged too but the cost/effort to stage those meetings would be astronomical compared to worth going back to youtube (though someone might do it).

It follows that a vlogger could say he won 1400 every night to impress his viewers and if the IRS did come calling he could simply say it was made up and if this vlogger's bank accounts weren't inflated and he indeed wasn't living beyond his projected means the IRS would buy the story.

someone that rhymes with Mr.Rucks?

If he has earned about $20k from sales, $10k from youtube, who knows what kind of cash sales on the strip, patreon and other financial support for his youtube channel, plus poker winnings if any?

He may owe tax on about $40k. whats the tax rate for that income over there in the USofA

Depends on how astute he is on realizing what he can write off as business expenses. Anywhere from 22-37 percent.

I thought he said he wasn’t playing 2-5 because his roll wasn’t big enough and he didn’t want the extra stress even though he “should” be playing 2-5.

Not sure where you get this but here is some info.

https://www.taxjar.com/states/nevada...exus-in-nevada

Nevada considers a seller to have sales tax nexus in the state if you have any of the following in the state:

An office or place of business (He calls casa de Trooper his office)
An employee present in the state
Goods in a warehouse (his closet is full of merchandise)
Ownership of real or personal property
Delivery of merchandise in Nevada in vehicles (He delivers all the time)
Independent contractors or other representatives in Nevada

I have some free time. What's the most efficient way to go about doing this?

Funny, Trooper making enough money to owe taxes.

Never thought I would see the day.

I'm pretty sure Trooper sends Nevada 8.25% on every hat delivery

You ever play that?
I have played it a handful of times. The last time I played it I lost $4K, $1K at a time. I’m not good at the game. Also not sure I want to put in the time it takes to actually become serviceable at the game.

The audio level on your voice over is way too high - it's at clipping and hard to listen to. Read this article on how to set the correct levels:

I watched quite a bit of the stream. Jeff went out on a cooler when he opened AK utg and got 3bet by KK in UTG+1. They were like 25 or 30bb eff, so stacks went in obv.

I did a bit of research on Shopify's business model. Looks like Trooper is doing very well for himself.

The Shopify pricing plans are as follow: The 'Basic' package is $29 per month (and 2.9% + 30¢ for every transaction). The 'Shopify' plan costs $79 per month (plus 2.5% + 30¢ for each transaction). Purchasing the 'Advanced' Shopify plan is $299 per month (and 2.25% + 30¢ per transaction).

Troop has almost certainly made 30k+ in pure profits unless I'm missing something.

Those are just the fees for Shopify to handle the transactions.
That doesn't include the base (wholesale) price of the merchandise.

I don't know who this Mr. Rucks guys is...maybe Mr. Lucks rhymes with that? Whatever that person's name is, I'm sure they are too busy rhyming their name to bother with this nonsense.

But on a totally unrelated note, here's a great link that people might find helpful if you feel someone is running a business out of a residential address and not reporting any business or personal income taxes:

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/how-...fraud-activity

I'm sure there is a link for reporting people operating without a business license too in Las Vegas (like those guys selling water on the strip) but I only have a few minutes for this sarcastic post.

Looking forward to catching Trooper on next week's episode of Shark Tank. That show would get such a huge boost from being featured on Trooper's vlog. They would get like 9,000 extra people watching that episode thanks to Trooper!

Seriously though, I would be curious to know how much he actually is taking home on those hat sales. I'm sure he would love to brag about how much it is but there is a very minimal chance that he actually keeps proper financial records on his business and knows any important numbers other than those emailed to him by his hat supplier.

Raise your hand if you think Trooper knows what Quicken or even Excel is...anyone...anyone?

He does know. Quicken is what he does to his walking pace to beat the line at Starbucks. Excel is what he does at drinking coffee.
