yes, i should have clarified, their revenue is up but what they share with creators is down. I've actually had videos demonetized that my viewers went to and saw ads before lol so i don't doubt that YT is making plenty of buckage regardless. Years ago you could play some kind of music briefly or use pictures freely, now they are very quick to demonetize if they recognize any kind of song playing in the background. Many of you are wise to use soundcloud music or to use their free songs that are available. I heard Boski speak of demonetization so i assumed that what those of us are going through on YT also applied to poker. I'm glad it doesn't apply to your channel and that you're doing well. I don't know what they would ever demonetize you for as there is nothing controversial on "what's up guys Doug Polk here?" There is a lot of great material and you're a natural before the camera.
Any shot anybody here has ordered merchandise from Trooper or Neeme, and if so could you post a quality review?
And/or if anybody has a drop ship merchandiser they'd recommend, I'd appreciate it.
I got a shirt from TheTrooper97. I'll give it 2 thumbs up for quality, graphic is sharp, the fabric is soft and comfortable. Can't comment on durability as I've only worn it twice.
I played at the Orleans last 3 days. Saw a guy with a black "Go Gamble" hat. He didn't play a hand and didn't sit at a table. Just walked around with his hands in his pockets and talked to people. Just sayin.

It's sick how long shooting and editing these videos takes. Owen says he spent 700 hours playing poker and 1200 doing the vlogs over the last year.
I don't doubt that AT ALL. It takes an insane amount of time to make vlogs, especially post-production(graphics, voice-overs, effects, etc). Just sitting down and re-watching everything that was filmed before editing can be tedious.
You really have to like the entire process...like REALLY like it. I think that's why some of the vloggers that popped up thinking it was a quick way to make a couple bucks quickly disappeared. The time vs. $$$ return just isn't there if you don't enjoy the editing process.
Myself, I really like the editing. I'll sit in my office for hours just laughing my a** off and having a blast. That's just me though. In talking with Trooper, he likes the editing as well, but he doesn't really enjoy the tedious post-production stuff and he wants quick turnarounds on his material as he releases daily. So he opts not to do a TON of graphical/effects work but his cinematography is really good.
I'm still learning both the editing and the ins-outs of cinematography. It's a work in progress but so far I'm loving the journey

When is your next trip to Vegas, Jaman?
I'd like to buy you a beer..or a slice of Venetian carrot cake..
actually i did see it, he kept it in the tirewell in the trunk of his car, and i saw him grabbing about $10,000 out of it to bring it inside the casino

That was Trooper asking people about where the nearest Starbucks was.

He was that dumb to leave himself open to getting 200K stolen from him by revealing where he kept it? Interesting.
Trooper finally getting honest about his poker playing and how it fits into his life in today's Vlog. Of course, the astute observers have known this for a long time now.
Why do people not believe Bike Kings story? Just skeptical?
1.) It's hard to believe Bikeking was sleeping in a car with ~$50K in the bank.
2.) It's hard to believe Bikeking was this dumb.
3.) It's hard to believe a bank would authorize a wire just under $10K for 4 or 5 consecutive days.
That's just 3 reasons, there are plenty of other holes in the story.

It occurs to me that it would have been interesting to start a vlog claiming to be living out of your car while secretly maintaining an apartment.
If I moved out to Vegas, I would consider playing small stakes LHE once a week and pretending that is the only thing I play on a vlog and seeing how long it takes before people figure out I am mostly playing something like 2/5NL.
His 1st vlog where he folded KK pre in a high stakes LATB game was incredible. He even said he doesn't care if he looked like a fool and was wrong. What a way to start off a vlog series
